The best real Italian taste in Luzern. I enjoyed the, friendliness of the staff, food, seating arrangement and the location. This is my third visit to Luzern and I never miss going to La Fenice.

This restaurant has nice interiors and was a change from many of the crowded tourist restaurants in the area. All the dishes were excellent and portions were huge.

Meal ok but experience spoilt by dispute over a jug of tap water. When the bill arrived a charge of 5 francs had been added. Waitress claimed she had filled the jug with bottled water not tap water.

Had the La Fenice folded pizza for dinner. Wife had arrabiata w penne which was delicious. Both portions were sizeable. Also had the buffalo mozzarella w tomatoes for starter. All for CHF65 - good value for money.

La Fenice is in the old city of Lucerne. It offers a full range of pizza, pasta and other Italian main dishes. The restaurant is pleasant with tables spaced far enough apart that it does not feel crowded. The service was good. The oven baked lasagne was a welcome dish on a cool evening in April. The prices were mid-range... More

The external seating area of this restaurant was situated immediately opposite my hotel in Lucerne and whilst studying the menu board I was approached by one of the waitresses. I decided that the location was pleasant and the menu offered a good range of standard Italian dishes. I selected the mushroom and truffle risotto as a main course and also... More

Very busy place on a Saturday night. Waitresses were so busy that the service was just mediocre. Pasta was bland, over cooked, dry, and very little seasoning. It's possible that they were unexpectedly busy and the service and kitchen couldn't keep the quality up. Disappointing.

The pizza with carpaccio recommended by our waiter was unique and quite delicious. And the pasta (penne with venison in a carbonara sauce) was done just right. The only disappointment was the tiramisu -- the cake wasn't moist enough! :-) Reasonably priced - which is more than you can say for most of Lucerne!

A very cosy environment at this restaurant which is very central and easy to find. We got a plate with 3 different types of pasta. Simply amazing!

first, glad they were open on Sunday when the rest of the city was closed. I had the pasta with eggplant which was decent. the portion was huge and could have easily been shared by two people. a few stars taken off for the lackluster staff. not many people dining and yet I still felt rushed and somehow ignored at...
