it was the first time at Lapin. The food was in the price range of the usual Swiss Game Dishes. Service was very nice and friendly. The food even came pretty fast. The piece of meat was a bit small and the only reason for the 4* rating. Taste was just great and quality as well. It is a traditional... More

Restaurant is situated in the Hotel de la paix. The food menu is very attractive specially sea food. Only issue is it requires pre booking of tables to entertain you.

Grüezi thank you for your comment. However we are a little bit surprised to read your dissapointing comment. The way you described your experience and especially the menu it looks like you had been part of a group. For the choice of the menu you like to comment on your organiser or operator. Sometimes we have group organiser who will... More

We stayed in hotel De La Paix for 2 nights and we had the best breakfast there ever. we weren't around during the day to try out the lunch and dinner menus but I am sure that would be awesome too. Special mention for the berry yoghurt with granola and the freshly baked croissants they were to die for.

In a city with a lot of tourist focused restaurants that offer perhaps a Disney version of local culture, the Lapin gives the impression of being genuine. At the time of our visit there seemed to be a number of locals among the clientele. The service was good and the food tasty, and although we weren't tempted by the local... More

Had lunch last Saturday. Reception by the head waitress was distant. We didn't feel particularly welcomed. Mistkratzer consisted of 2 wings and two legs. Inquiring about the breast, the waitress informed us, that this is the way their Mistkratzer is served and that she does not know of any other way to serve it, said it and turned on her... More

Grüezi thank you for your time to send us a review. We are sorry you did not like the mistchratzerli. It seams rather strange to serve only wings and legs, but it is the case that the mistchratzerli also named "Stubenkücken" are small. We apologize, if there has been to much salt on the meat. Usually our clients are quiet... More

It has a cosy, rustic appearance and serves modern European cuisine specialising in regional dishes. The menu offers fish, meat and seafood dishes as well as traditional Swiss Käsespätzli (small dumplings with melted cheese) with chives and pumpkin potato strudel with parsley cream sauce. In addition to the standard menu, the restaurant offers a special every day and extensive 3 to 4 course weekly menus. The speciality of the house are the Ratsherrenspieße (a type of food served en brochette) with various types of meat and vegetables and are served flambéed at your table.
