Incontro: a classic Italian restaurant. Pizzas are good. Pasta is good. Recommend the penne siciliana. Best price/quantity/quality ratio in all of Geneva. Service is a bit sporadic though. Especially on terrace in the summer. But if you're looking for a no fuss good Italian which is decently priced for Geneva, definitely a place to go.

Aside from the fact that the food is nothing special and that there are about 5 different Italian restaurants around that beat this place hands down, what really stands out most of all is the abysmal service and non-existant customer experience. My forecast more than a year ago that this place needed to update itself pronto was right, unfortunately it... More

Decent pizzas, do not belong to Geneva's upper tier. Pasta better than pizzas. Busy place - in particular over lunch.

I ordered the orecchiette pugliese, the pasta was overcooked..the tomato sauce boiling and the meat like rocks....the place has changed...the service is disapointing and would never come back!

The pizza was soggy and the penne Siciliana was tasteless. The pasta was overcooked and I got the impression that they used a food service tomato sauce. A freind ordered a penne arabiatta and she said it was the same. Service was mediocre at best but then I guess the staff was all new with the new owners.

Good overall Italian restaurant. Nothing really special. However if take the PENNE SICILIANA you are in for a treat. Nothing is really extraordinary but nothing is bad. Out of the huge choice of Italian restaurants in Geneva this is very decent. Pricing is correct and you can get away with a 30-40CHF meal no problem. Portions are also pretty generous.... More

One of the best tasting penne a la siciliana in Geneva. The home made red chillies in olive oil that they provide is just amazing. But the most impressive thing is that you don't get just one plate but they bring you a second serving once you finished your first plate. London should take note, no pizzeria in London even... This was one of my regular haunts but haven't been back for a while. I heard that it wasn't as good as it used to be, but there's nothing like checking it out yourself. I was looking forward to a great crispy pizza but was disappointed by the quality. It was soggy and not terribly tasty (apart from a little... More

I ordered minestrone and fried calamari. Minestrone tasted like canned soup and very salted, so I left more than half. The vegetable in it tasted like frozen food. I still had to pay CHF16. The fried calamari dish was also very disappointing. Friend said the pasta was good, so majority of customers ordered pasta. Probably not so many would order... More

We were 6 and tried to have something light to eat after a concert. Two couples and one friend alone. After drinks both couples asked each one for a pizza to share. We were not so hungry but wanting to grab a bite and a few beers. Restaurant almost empty. The waiter (not his fault) comes back saying the owner... More
