This is well-deserving award winning gelateria! I went out in the rain and took a twenty-minute tram ride to get there, and it was worth it. I had a waffle cone with mango and lemon. The gelato was excellent. The mango tasted strongly of mango...and the lemon was nice and tart. The servings were generous for the price. Don't expect "cheap" gelato in Geneva -- if you want good quality! I would recommend this place over another popular Geneve gelateria, which seems to get more attention.More

We had to stand in line at the Paquis branch but it was worth waiting for. The chocolate ice cream is as good as it gets. So much so, that I brought one back home - chocolate and coffee mixed. My husband decided to get...a litre and chose five different flavours. I had a taste of some of them - I forget which ones -which also tasted wonderful. I needed to write this review because I think Manu Il Gelato Italiano deserves it. I have tried lots of ''authentic'', ''best'', ''customers's choce'' home made, italian ice creams and neither of those is even close to this one. Best taste, consistency, great ideas for...mixtures. Ideal. Now i go there every day. Not to mention that the staff is over polite, always ready to help you to pick up something you like and to even give you to taste something before you buy it. Best ice cream experience outside Italy. Well, sort of outside. It's an Italian ice cream shop in Geneva. Amazing flavors, super creamy "artisanal" ice cream.

Best ice cream in the world. Once we tried it, we became obsessed with it. Very large scoops, and they even have pots for take ice cream home. Prices are average for Switzerland.
