I went there with my friend, completely at random, and it was a really nice and cozy restaurant, filled with young people. The tapas were amazing and the service was friendly! I recommend the "Nachos and Guacamole" and "Chorizo and Potatos" Tapas! Prices are very reasonable, with Tapas at 10CHF and good wines at around 6CHF. We came back the... More

I go to the cafe du lys quite often for lunch. Everyday the "fleur du jour" menu changes and offers to taste new things for a good price. Atmosphere is great and very cosy, service is very good. Food is always fresh and creative and leaves you with a wish to come back. Special mention for the desserts and cakes... More

This restaurant is one of my favorite ones! I really like the food, I truly recommend it if you want to have a nice dinner with your partner or colleagues/friends. The price is adapted to the quality of the food. Sometimes the service is a little bit slow, but it worths it.

Bartenders were really nice, and guided me through the different beers and artisanal syrup they had. I was a little hungry so asked for a nibble, and they had this really nice "Swiss assiette" with bread, cheese, dried meat and the whole shebang

My favorite place to have a light snack or even a meal with friends around uni. Not so pretentious as many cafes around town, it has nice down to earth food and staff. I esp. love the atmosphere, and prices are quite reasonable. Student discount and fair vegetarian choices make me keep going back. :)

It's my favorite place on la rue de l'Ecole de Médecine. It is cosy and it smells heavenly. The service is friendly (I went there once, asked for a slice of pie and the waitress offered it to me, saying it was to small for me to pay for it.. this is not an attitude I've encountered very often in... Since they finished the roadworks on la rue de la l'école de Medecine, le Café de Lys has become very popular. I would recommand to give them a call you want to eat there (Monday to Friday) on a sunny day because it's always very packed. Prices on the menu are around 18 to 25 Swiss francs. (They have a... I went there a couple of months ago and I basically write only now, because I’m still very angry about everything. The place is a typical vegetarian unfriendly restaurant. They served me a dish so small and ridiculous, even a 7-year-old child would have asked for more. First of all, they gave me a bad look, when I asked for... More

We're used to come here almost every weekend with the friends, the location suits perfectly to anybody living in Geneva. The surrounding is nice, there are a lot of places to drink and to have a bite, but this one is especially nice. The selection of beers is impressive, also one can find cocktails&wines as well. Pies are well done!... More

The Café du Lys is a very nice place for two main occasions : - the first and most obvious is having drinks in the evening : lots of choice and nice atmosphere - the second that not everyone knows about is lunch - you can eat a tasty meal for 17 CHF The plat du jour changes everyday, and... More
