We have had great meals at this restaurants in the past. However, a couple of days back we were very disappointed with the terrible salad and pizza which was served to us. Apparently the main chef was on vacation!!

Went to dinner there with two friends. Everyone's dinner was good to very good, but no one's was "wow." Pricing is typical for Geneva, which is to say expensive. This is a place where a "full dinner" is going to be over 100 chf (aperitif, salad, main course with wine, desert, coffee). But at the same time, you can get... More

Located on the Place du Cirque opposite the tram stops and next to cave valaisanne, this is a good option for a quick pizza campagnola (with egg) on a sunny day if there is room at the terrace. Waiter was quite nice and efficient and pizza was decent and even though it was not a Luigia beater, it is much... More

Lunch in nice outside seating area. Obviously used by locals at nearby university as they seemed a touch put out at non French tourists. Caesar salad had breaded chicken and was highly spiced. I tried salmon pizza as I wanted some non-meat protein. Nice size pizza was draped with slices of salmon - or maybe it was lox as it... More

I was very disappointed with my salad and in particular the lack of taste of the cherry tomatoes. The scaloppina Milanese was dry, hard to believe it has just been cooked. No fresh fruits on the menu and the wine by the glass is not served with the bottle so you don't see what you drink.

Average not better, not worse, average. Prices are ok and food is very simple. Good for quick and cheap lunches.

I've been to Il Carosello many times. This time was a girls' night with a couple of mates. Two of us ordered a pasta dish and one a pizza. There was huge difference in portion size between the two and the waiter noticed my surprise. Just as we were finishing the pasta dish, the waiter brought out another portion for... More

Prices ok, but serving really small (are they saving on pasta)?. No reasons to choose this restaurant when there are so many others. Unlikely to go back

We've dined here on several occasions because we enjoy the food and its within walking distance of our flat. The problem appears to be the service... it's slow... So slow that once a group of 6 of us got up and left. Now, you know.
