We were taken out to dinner here by Swiss friends. The ambience is calm and enchanting. The building and the lighting are very attractive. The food is excellent - the sauce on the tortellini was exquisite. The portions were more generous than I had been...led to believe but it is easy to cancel (or add an extra course). I liked that you could choose how many dishes you had. The young woman who runs the restaurant was totally charming, very knowledgeable about wine and made a big contribution to the general atmosphere of the restaurant.More

A cozy restaurant where you will find high quality dishes! All of them are exquisite and beautiful! We've been there 4 times already and we have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food in this small but fine restaurant. The service was friendly and we felt very well treated.

Really nice ambient. They hade a small menu carte and you can choose if want 3, 4 or 5 dishes. The plates are fantastic - optical but also in taste. The coffee (espresso) is local and very good. Place to recommend.

We were in Biel for the weekend and came across this restaurant with its original concept. A fixed menu but with 2 to 3 choices for each course. They use fresh local produce, and those in season. A charming team of young professionals, the whole...dining experience was extremely enjoyable in terms of ambience as well as highly satisfying in terms of palate. Reminded of Restaurant Radio in Copenhagen with a similar concept and run by a young team too. It is a bit out of the city of Biel (about 3km from the city centre) but worth the additional effort.More

I invited two guests to this restaurant I have never heard of or been before, yet read about it on - trip advisor. What a little gem that is. The staff is young friendly and attentive. The restaurant is unpretentious from the outside and the...inside, yet the atmosphere is brilliant. We were able to sit outside and had the chance to take part in the "Grill week" (Barbecue). We were offered to chose from 5 different dishes and a vegetarian option. All was prepared fresh. They do practice a slower approach to the experience rather than rushing you through all the different menus from anti pasti to main dish to dessert.More

After having frequented the second best restaurant in Biel for a while on tripadvisor, we had to try the number one place. Apparently good restaurants in Biel are very small because Maruzzella is tiny. But that doesn't matter at all, the food is brilliant, the...staff is friendly and knows the food they are presenting. Very well laid out dishes with so many exquisite tastes. The cooks came out after the dinner and made sure we had had a great time - which indeed we had. Most local residents i spoke to in Biel didn't know about this place, but they should - it's amazing.More
