Well located in the city. Modern place for a simple lunch. Friendly staff, helpful. Fast and efficient. The food is good, they mainly have ramen but many variations. Not only the ingredients you can chose but also the soup itself (3 or 4 different soups as basis). The soups are really good, light and tasty. I had the chicken ramen... More

I'm absolutely fan of Japanese food. Namamen does a good job, they taste special and my favourite is the seafood Ramen. I go often there. Attention: Swiss price, so little bit expensive for tourists and people on a budget. Worth a try !

Ramen taste fine, not too bad, European standard. The place is clean and price is reasonable. Have to say the ice cream is really nice cause they have special flavour e.g. sweet potato or green tea.

Make sure to check out the adress before as it is very discrete. Modern, minimalistic design with friendly staff. Good choices for vegan dishes (they offer ricenoodles instead of ramen). Some choice of vegan side dishes. Udon noodles are only available with a animal based soup. Overall I liked the food very much.

High quality quick service. Will go back many times. Had squid miso, roasted superb, next time is the hot one. Sides are also good, makes a snack a meal.

Good and authentic Ramen dishes, centrally located in Basel. However the atmosphere is rather cold - could do with better lighting and more comfortable seats. Recommended for quick meals.

the menu is very authentic and so is the taste, pricing also very attractive. you can compliment your dish with japanese tea (hot or cold). one point to mention is that the staff is absolutely amazing, very friendly and nice, you can also feel that they enjoy working together which makes the experience very nice overall. they were even so... Very friendly (yet sober) place to savor a Ramen Soup. I recommend the Miso one with Chashu, but there is a wide choice for every taste !

situated next to the Messe, it's very convenient for lunch. Crowdy but very quickly served. We had very good Gyoza and a tofu skewer with yakitori sauce. We missed original flavours in the two noodle soups.

I love this place with its great food, it's fresh and tasty. eating soup with Japanese spoons are always a funny event, also for kids. Healthy but makes you feel eating enough. I am eating there every second month and whenever it fits in my schedule. Evenings it's worth to book a table upfront. Nice and friendly staff; clean environment.
