We really enjoyed our meal at Peng, but thought that the dumplings let them down. We ordered the dumpling sample platter and were excited to try all of the flavors, but unfortunately they were all a bit bland. We really enjoyed the other dishes we...had - sticky eggplant, spicy green beans, dan dan noodles, and pork bao. We will be back but next time may skip the dumplings.More

A gem in Basel. We need more restaurants like this in Basel — artful food, attractive interior design, caring and warm service. Took my kids and it was a meal of discovery, great food made with care. much needed since the last years of ‘always...the same’. Birthday of the beloved half. We love to eat oriental food. Someone recommend Peng Dumplings, here in Basel. With our two little girls, the proposed formula is ideal. You order what you like, choose the time to pick it up, take it home frozen and...cook it as you like (steamed, pan-fried, boiled). All very good. When throwing away the packages (and talking about ingredients) we realise that the yellow chicken dumplings were produced on 08/02/2022 (today's date), the combo mix has no label, the xiao long bao (the girls' favourite) was produced on 30/04/2021 (expiry date 30/06/2021). I write a message in the "Contact us" section. After ten minutes one of the guys from peng dumplings called me back and explained that there was a problem with the label machine. What do we do, trust them?More

Had dumplings and noodles to go. It was delicious. The service was great. Very friendliy and helpful.

Amazing tasty Dumplings and presentation beautiful. It is really exotic homemade Chinese Food. The Chef really knows how to spoil the Customers with tasty food. The Owner very nice person. Atmosphere there just Amazing.
