We got a table in the very intrance next to the receptionist with a consistent trafic of guests walking in and out. After three attempts we got the wine but this was after the first course. For 300 CH for two people this is daylight robery and the hotel should not sell such a table at all

This is a lovely restaurant in the best hotel in Basel. You will want to sit near the window to see the river as you dine. This is elegant and formal. The food was good, the dessert was delicious. The service was very good at the beginning and petered out at the end. In all fairness it was the last... More

Located on the ground floor of Basel's finest Les Trois Rois hotel, The Brasserie offers excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere. The wine list is not expensive for Basel. My only disappointment was with the service. It was rather slow and the staff persisted in not looking in our direction when needed.

I have been there on numerous occasions and I can recommend this brasserie. Excellent service, good food and drinks and a very cosy environment with rhine river view. Pricy but worth it.

I was so looking forward for this sunday brunch but utterly dissappointed! For the price, I expected way more than just couple of warm food stations (roast beef and salmon en cr.), cold cuts, salads, fruits, juice and very limited choices of desserts. Sure, it's in the most expensive hotel in Basel but come on, there was nothing special about... More

The Three Kings is the best appointed hotel in Basel, and its brasserie -- where we had drinks before dinner elsewhere -- is the epitome of fine European style and service. Top shelf liquors. But very expensive If you order a chivas, you can get the $100 25-year-old.

Description
Sumptuous in every way. The Brasserie has an impressive landscape painting covering one entire wall. It also has antique gilt-framed mirrors. The panoramic windows also offer fabulous views of the Rhine. The restaurant serves a selection of French-Swiss specialities such as Entrecte de boeuf and Zricher Kalbsgeschnetzeltes (a local dish of diced veal). The restaurant has attractively laid tables and black upholstered chairs and appeals to hotel guests and tourists. The service is perfect, polite and friendly. Fancy a glass of wine? The Brasserie has an outstanding selection fine wine from which to choose.
