Hand made lasagna and spinach stuffed ravioli were great, and the veggies in mixed green salad were fresh and tasted great. Waitress gave us just the right amount of attention - my wife wasn't feeling to well and we were both tired from a day of travel.

I know the place for many years and gladly return there whenever I'm back in my hometown Basel and fancy a pleasant evening in a homely atmosphere, a decent meal and experienced service. We'll call again.

The food was great and the staff was VERY friendly. It felt like I was part of a story. There was a lot of energy in the place and the clientele was varied.

A nice homely Swiss style restaurant I had the white asparagus and Veal again Great again. Simple and tasty food, not too expensive either.

We recently had dinner at this restaurant and although it wasn't very busy, we waited quite long for both starter and main course. Clearly pasta and great service is not their expertise, and prices are too high for the quality of the food. That said, we've always had a fun time at Zur Harmonie during Fasnacht. My tipp: visit during... More

Had the pleasure of going here tonight for dinner..Food took ages and when it arrived the order was incorrect( missing an order) and to top it off it was DISGUSTING...Home made lasagne 😂😂😂😂😂..Left feeling sick and regretting not going to Mc Donald's down the street..Definitely the worst restaurant I've been to in a long time...KEEP away from this KIP! And... More

It was a beautiful day as I came closer to the restaurant the chatter echoed, followed by the aroma of the food. From the outside the ambience was set and all that was left was some non-fussy and honest cooking-that is what we got. The food was fresh, the service had a smile and after a long day that's all... Lovely inside and with a good atmosphere we had high hopes for our evening meal here. The drinks were great but the food average. Perhaps we chose badly as the reviews suggest a lot of people enjoy the food here but the tuna Niçoise salad didn't seem freshly prepared & the tuna was dry. My partner's tortellini pasta was overcooked... More

I actually ate at this place twice, mainly because it was cheaper than the other restaurants serving traditional food. Of course, "cheaper" is relative. Consider a dinner that would cost ~$40 (for 2) in most of nearby Germany will be closer to $100 at this place and you get the picture. What set this place apart was the terrible service.... More

We loved it and our kids (4&8) too! The food was great (really good meat) and the service very good. Traditional Swiss setting, chilled out, relaxed. A good place for a Saturday lunch wind down, in the middle of this beautiful city.
