Visited Del Mundo recently during our trip in Europe. While searching for the place to have a meal noticed Del Mundo as it is looks cozy from outside. And it really was so! Really friendly staff explained us their menu and had a small talk as well, in English, which was important for us (we are not German/French speakers and... More

We had breakfast there before we leave Basel. The meals are simple yet excellent. The Mundo set we ordered contains croissant, orange juice, coffee, brown bread with various of jam. The croissant is the best one we had in Switzerland, fresh and warm, crispy outside, soft inside. Brown bread taste good too. Coffee is in good quality. Most important the... More

The cafe is in our neighbourhood so we thought we would try it out. It has a nice cosy, fun vibe to it and a good range of seating. Coffee was probably a little bit better than average and a little expensive. We also had a pastry which wasn't too bad and a bit different to other kinds of pastries... More

We enjoy a tasty cake with coffee. Service is friendly. Type of customers are kind of the people living around, mixed group. We liked it.

Very nice location, young female students and good coffee... the perfect ingredients for a nice coffee bar. But the service is poor and chaotic. The flies, being in Switzerland but far away from the cows, might indicate a hygiene problem. Conclusion: there are better options in this part of Basel for a nice and cosy coffee.

We discovered this great neighborhood cafe on a Saturday morning. The coffee is fantastic and the cosy atmosphere in the cafe was very inviting. The cafe serves breakfast and lunch bags to take out at reasonable prices. The cakes and sweets as well as the American chocolate chip cookie that we tested was delicious. It's worth it to stop by... Café del Mundo is a small cozy restaurant with a familiar atmosphere. You can go for a brunch or try the lunch meals. All the food is homemade, the Quiche, the Parma Special Sandwich or the daily changing soups are very delicious and I love to eat there. If you are alone for brunch or lunch that's no problem because... More

Food is good but portions are small and restaurant is expensive. You'll even feel hungry when you leave the restaurant.
