I have to say that I had my worst pizza ever in Italy. I have lived here for 4 years and travelled here before that for 20 years. I feel sorry, that in a beautiful city center like Perugia, which has lots of gorgeous attractions to tourists, they dare offer you a pizza like this. The service from the very... More

One of the best pizzas I have tasted was in this restaurant, it's my first time in Perugia, and all the restaurants are hidden away, we found this little gem whilse wondering around, it was very quiet as we had landed that day and was eating early , but things do not pick up in atomsphere untill 8-9pm So I... Pasta ai porcini and pasta ai tartufi are amazing, very nicely served. House wine is ok. Staff is friendly and efficient.

Good friendly service made up for the food being very delayed from the kitchen and the quality being fairly average. Had an antipasto and secondo with a contorno of spinach, only to find that the main dish came with spinach - I think they should have pointed that out. I've had better food elsewhere in Perugia and at lower prices.

Some pseudo-cookin experts would say that italian cuisine is not "gastro". But when someone prepares and cook pasta like the one served in this place, it becomes almost artisitic. I am a pasta lover and I must say La Pasteria is the place where I ate the best pasta ever. Try the fresh pasta with saucage and truffles... amazing. My... More

This restaurant has two outside locations, one on the main street and one in the alley. We had diner in their alley terrace which is a great location with ambiance. the service was very good, the waiters were very friendly, genuinely enjoying their job, spoke English and were attentive. the menu had some interesting side dishes (contorni) on it such as... It was not my first attempt in finding the perfect meal in Italy, but that night, I have succeeded. A friend living in Perugia brought me to this fantastic restaurant located in the heart of Perugia: La Pasteria. The entrance is retreated from the street, almost hidden. To enter, you have to walk through a medieval alley that guides your... More

First of all, the place is really nice. It looks like some medieval bar or something alike; besides that, service was great and they were very kind. Food was really good! I had some pasta with great taste and pizzas are awesome! Totally recommended.

We had lots of pizza during our two week trip in Italy, but I think this was our favorite. We stopped by this little restaurant for lunch - off the main street and up an alley - nothing fancy, we sat outside and ordered pizza and wine. If you like your pizza very thin but with a full crispy crust,... More

At least when we visited this restaurant back in June we had a nice experience. We were a small group of about 10 on a tour from Rome. I remember having mozzarella & prosciutto followed by fettuccine Alfredo and a gelato. It was great. The place does not pretend to be what it is not. It is a charming place... More
