We (my husband, toddler and I) had lunch here. We heard we'd probably need to book but luckily got a table. The staff were so friendly and even prepared a special dish of tomato-sauce pasta specially for our daughter. We had a sharing plate of meats, cheeses and bread to start - all delicious. The house wine was very good.... More

This was our favourite restaurant in Perugia. Nice food, reasonable prices with an excellent wine list. My pasta with ragu was rather bland but the cheeses on the Ham and Cheese Platter were delicious, and my wife’s spaghetti with truffles was very nice.

We make several trips to Perugia to have lunch at A Priori, each time we stay in our home an hour a way. The food is delicious, meticulously prepared with the finest seasonal, local ingredients. The fresh pasta is the best I have ever eaten. The staff is friendly, service is efficient, tho lingering over coffee and dessert is encouraged,... More

I highly recommend this as a place to eat in Perugia. Its half way down Via Dei Priori r which is a little pedestrian street just off the main Piazza del Priori. The outside space is squashed into a small are next to an old church so very atmospheric . The food is delicious Umbrian dishes with a nice range... More

Quite small premise, probably in winter it's necessary to book a table. We had melanzane parmigiana (eggplant cake with cheese and tomato sauce); tomatoes salad and tuna salad. Quite a surprise that such a small "taverna" had such a good food. Suggest if in Perugia a visit for a fast lunch or dinner.

Highly recommended for diner in Perugia. We had the vegetarian options, the choice was okay given the overall small menu and the focus of Umbrian cooking on meat dishes. It was a great meal, and the local red wine to accompany it was excellent. We will come again next time we are in Perugia!

Absolutely perfect and very flavorful. Fresh ingredients and friendly waiters. We are vegan and could still find many delicious choices on the menu.

We stopped at this restaurant in a break from a full day of sightseeing in Perugia based on raves from friends. It didn't disappoint. It's a few steps down Via Priori off the square with the Fontana Maggiore. Family owned and operated. We started with an appetizer platter of fagiolina beans from Lake Trasimeno, a very soft omelet made with... More

As many others have said - book! The first night we tried there were no tables, but we were able to book for the following evening. Guidance on wine was great, the food was very good, and we got the chance to try the sweet passito wine with biscotti for dessert. All good!

Had a good dinner here with my colleague. The waiter new alot about wines from the region and he advised us a very good reasonable priced wine. We had typical prosciutto's from the region and a nice pasta. Good atmosphere!
