Quaint little wine bar with a friendly host, popular with locals. Wine by the glass was very reasonably priced. Would have returned but it was closed on Sunday and Monday.

It was too early for dinner & we were wandering the streets of Gubbio when we stubbled across this enoteca. And wow, we're so pleased we went it. Our host waited until he'd entirely finished with the previous visitors before attending to us (& was equally as attentive to us when others entered). He spoke perfect English, had an incredible knowledge of Umbrian wines & made great recommendations - it gave us a great orientation for the rest of our trip. Wine was amazingly priced per glass, making you want more than one ; ) Whilst sipping on your selection we were presented with a complimentary plate of bread, cheese & salami. We loved our time at this enoteca & tried several times, without the same success, to repeat the experience elsewhere in Italy. So by definition, this place is a one off!! Find & enjoy - you'll be accompanied by the occasional local resident who's in for his evening tipple, but pretty much that will be it ; )

A place with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to savor excellent wines at unbeatable prices: congratulations to Alessandro, very nice and truly passionate, who knows how to generously communicate his passion.
