The restaurant offers excellent regional food sampling menu. It is not cheap but worth it. We've also tried very good locally-produced wine, beer and grappa. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. They have a pleasant sitting area on a quiet street.

Stopped with a group of friends for a quick mod-afternoon drink. Ordered 'salumi e formaggi tipici', which was delicious. A very good selection of local meats of a very high quality (not the lower standard of meat one often gets in tourist restaurants). Delightful staff and a friendly welcome. Worth a stop of wandering around Gubbio.

We stopped here at the end of a wonderful afternoon in Gubbio, we have 2 small children and they were really accommodating - the kids shared a menu of pasta and veal & chips and we had the Umbria tasting menu - amazing food and completely authentic, not the cheapest meal we have had in Italy - but the quality... The only disappointment with this restaurant was that we found it too late on our Gubbio holiday. The restaurant is just a few minutes stroll from the excellent Hotel Gattapone, which was our home for the week (see separate review). We didn’t seek the restaurant out initially due to the reviews describing it as “quiet”; it was in fact very... More

We ate here on a Sunday night in September. It was the best meal we ate during our week in Gubbio. We went here because of the positive reviews on TA , we were surprised that we were the only guests when we walked in and it is a pity we stayed the only guests that night! The interior is... More

My wife and two friends were looking for a restaurant that had been recommended by Italian friends of ours in the past. As we were unable to find it at the address we had for it, we asked a lady on the street for help and she told us that it had closed but that the chef had opened another... More

I decided to spend a different "ferragosto" with my family: weather was uncertain and I didn't want the crowd of the seaside area: off we go to Gubbio. After a nice walk we decided to stop at this restaurant for lunch. The waiter is super and ready to help you and suggest you what is best. Even my 3 y.o.... More

..and this is our fifth time visiting. Food and service all top notch. The crispy almond chicken with orange and parmesan salad is to die for. The desserts may well finish you off though. Definitely try the salty butter and truffle pasta, a local speciality.

We had dinner at a table outdoors, lovely place, quiet and beautiful (but also the inner restaurant is nice, in an old vaulted house). We had two starters, chicken with almonds in Parmesan crust and salad with oranges and melted cheese with black truffles, and two mains, typical local noodles with mushrooms and sausage and pumpkin dumplings with cheese and...
