Great range of fresh pastries in large and small sizes along with very good coffee and other beverages of the alcoholic variety. Charming staff.

The Best!! Enough said. But if you need more- the food, espresso and service is off the charts. Emy, Monica (the boss), and Nadia (the Big Boss, Giuseppe is the Big, Big Boss) are amazing. The music is cool too. They will treat you like...royalty. If you are in Assisi, please stop in here.More
Wery rude waitress, caffe is ok. Dirty glasses. We have ordered espresso macchiatos but didn’t get it first. She was eery angry as we told her to bring some milk...
My husband and I stopped into this cute little place after self-touring the Basilica. It was a lovely day on the piazza. The food tasted like something you would get in the frozen food aisle at the market. Every woman working there has the demeanor...that they could care less that patrons were sitting there. I tried to get someone’s attention to understand if we pay inside or at table but one of the women outside looked at me gesturing, then just looked past me. Finally I just gave up and decided to pay inside, and again, just sour demeanor across the board. The cashier literally tossed the coins at me once I paid. While I was paying, my husband began trying to fend off the pigeons trying to feast on our remaining food and he ended up trying to move the food away to another table - only to have one of the women glare at him. If we were to bus our own table it wasn’t very clear. It was a shame to end our visit to Assisi on such a bad note. I recommend steering your business elsewhere.More
The cafe offering drinks, pizza, pasta, sandwiches ,cafe and pastries. There are tables outside . The food were average.
We loved this place. It’s in the shadows of the Foro Romano (the Roman Forum- originally a temple of Minerva), and commands a view of Piazza Del Commune, with its fountain and the beautiful paved courtyard. We were there early, so we did get an...outside table from where we could watch the morning arrive to the Piazza: shopkeepers opening their shops, delivery vans rumbling along, the local police sauntering around the piazza. It was lazy, slow, and peacefully Italian. We ordered a cafe latte, and a Palmier, which we called ‘French heart’, but the young lady serving us couldn’t understand despite our pictorial gestures, so we stepped into the cafe and pointed out the pastry in the display case. She smiled, and got it for us. They have an upstairs seating which is reached by a sodden staircase at the back of the cafe, and a toilet tucked away on the second floor. The whole breakfast cost us 4euros, and the Passing Show was free.More
We stopped here for a late lunch on a really hot day. They had a mist fan going, which was really good. We had some wine and caprese salad, and a caprese sandwich. All the dishes were very fresh and tasty. Wine excellent. The shifts...were changing with the waitresses, and we did end up with one who was very sour. It put just a tine damper on our meal, but would still stop here again.More
We ate breakfast here on 03/26, total for 3 was €12,10. We ordered at the bar, paid at the register and then went upstairs. Food was brought to us. The upstairs dining area is very close quarters but allows you to talk to the people...at the next table easily. We had a pleasant conversation with a German family.More
We had a nice stop for a couple of Aperol Spritz. Very reasonable prices, especially considering the location. Our server was very friendly and high energy. When she was not attending to customers, she was wiping tables and straightening chairs.
We stopped here for a pre-dinner cocktail on a sunny afternoon. Conveniently located in the main piazza, with lots of exterior seating. We did not eat here so I can’t comment on the food. Drinks were good, we had 2 Campari Spritz which were served...with complimentary chips, service was fine and prices were similar to other bars in the same area.More
Great atmosphere and nice stop by town square for coffee and a small snack. The lasagna was good too.
We went to this bar for cocktails and snacks. The caipirinhas were the best I have had anywhere. The drinks came with a variety of snacks. It was our "dinner" several evenings. Great place to people watch out on the patio. We loved the staff..hip,...fashionable, young women who were genuine and gentile. One of 2 reasons to return to Assisi again and again.More
Right in the center of town, and near the fountain of the Plaza. The coffee was very good, regardless whether it was a Cappuccino, latte or Americano. Also, always found the wait staff very friendly and helpful. We visited here many times during our recent...visit, and were never disappointedMore
We were in Assisi several times before. This is also a place were prices were raised more than they should be. We went here for a drink, because their outside seating area is a nice place to overlook the local street life. In fact, this...is the best thing to tell about this place. The rest is average.More
Our first full day in Assisi and we thought, for a change, we’d pay the extra, sit in the plaza, soak in the beautiful surrounds and watch the world go by. A delightful, smiling young waitress was so helpful and after following her into the...restaurant to choose a breakfast pastry, ordered coffee and some water. I later ordered a second coffee from the table and we struck up a conversation with the American gentleman at the table next to us - effusive in his praise of Assisi and the cafe we were situated in; ‘the best coffeee in town’ (my wife was similarly complimentary of the coffee). Finished, I went inside to pay, handedover my receipts and noted I had an extra coffee which was not on the bill. The till was rung up and €12.20 was displayed. I only had a €50 note and some change and handed over €50.20, expecting some consternation at providing a €50 note, but got none, merely €8 in change (€5 note, and a €2 and €1 coin). I stood slightly bemused as the woman, still holding my €50 note having lifted the cash tray but inexplicably failed to have hiden the evidence that it was indeed €50 she was still holding in her hand was doing a pretty poor impersonation of incredulity at my protestations; I’ll be charitable and say this was an early attempt at slight of hand as she was pretty woeful at it. (At this time I was struck by the large font size and clarity of the printed numbers on the Euro notes - the €50 in her hand, the €5 in mine - and the notes lined up in the cash register’s tray; no language issue, no misunderstandings, it was crystal clear (even to me, the tourist).) After about a minute of me explaining in English her maths was incorrect, she reached into the still open cash draw, my €50 note still in her hand and gave me a €20 and €10 note, not needing to count, not saying sorry, not acknowledging the mistake - she’d obviously thought it worth a try but had been rumbled. (I didn’t even get a derisory shrug of the shoulders or a rye smile - no theatre in this attempted scam: so desultory.) So, great coffee, a lovely location and a very sweet waitress but lose points for attempted larceny. (I may have been given two stars had her heart been in it.)More
