Located between levels of the Assisi Labyrinth, I Monaci is a nice setting for wood oven pizza. I only had the pizza. Crust is on the thick side. Reasonably priced.

Recommended by the hotel strictly for Pizza only. It was a very good pizza but the service was poor. Maybe they were all having a bad night but apart from one waitress the staff were not very good.

Once you’ve climbed and climbed and shopped your way through the tiny streets of Assisi, you’ll welcome a lunch break. We enjoyed a delicious array of appetizers and a cold beer at I Monaci.

Ate here several evenings. Lovely food and good service. Nice lasagne and tasty deserts too! Prices reasonable. Mama the head of the family business keeps them all on their toes!

We were exhausted and hungry on our way to Santa Chiara in Assisi, and stumbled upon this nice little restaurant with delicious pizza. The Siciliana, with olives and capers was terrific.

Went here in 2014 with a friend who lives in Assisi and returned this year. Great pizza. The locals definitely go here.
