Are here tonight. Very close to the basilica. Food was good and the price was very reasonable. Gong back for lunch tomorrow. Very friendly service.

We checked TA listings for a top rated restaurant near the Hotel Windsor Savoia and found Cecco. Just ten minutes later we were ordering vegetable soup, strangozzi del subasio con porcini (pasta with mixed mushrooms and truffles) and ravioli with buttermilk curd. I found that the pasta was a little heavy on the olive oil. Note that there are only... More

Friendly service and a wonderful meal; very handy to the Basilica of Saint Francis. I had the stew of wild boar: the meat was meltingly tender.

Great bruschetta and cannelloni. Husband had lamb chops. Charming and delicious and fresh. A fun and genuinely Italian way to end a day of St Francis and Clare touring. Love this place

Brushetta was a great start. Peppercorn steak with Gorgonzola sauce was amazing. As was the pasta with mushrooms. Wine and service to match!

The food was excellent. The ambiance was relaxed. The service was superb. My only criticism is the dessert the waitress called Creme brûlée was actually a wonderful pana cotta. But I wasn't disappointed.

Small "hole in the wall" opposite an open piazza, operated by two ladies serving succulent Italian dishes for modest price. Service gracious and attentive, food delicious. One of the best meals we had in a week of great food in Italy.

It is good and waitstaff is fine. Who staying around Basilica S. Francesco for sure it is the best option. The place decoration is very cute and cozy.

A great place to eat in Assisi. If you are near the Basilica di Francesco you could do a lot, lot worse than to eat here. The food is good and the service second to none. Highhly recommended for lunch as well as dinner.

The cannelloni as usual were excellent. Mrs. Berti is the hostess who really cares. Prices are moderate but the food quality is tops. Mushroom bruschetta really shines. Good array of local wines offered. Group of 6 was very satisfied.
