Walked past in the rain could see at least 6 empty tables.Went in and ask for a table of 2 as we were very wet .Host looked at us and said no like I was a piece of dirt.He then turned around to ignore us.Totally disgusting would never speak to anybody like that especially somebody who wants to spend money.

We found 'Osteria del Gusto' near Siena's cathedral. It is a stylish Restuarant built under the curved roof of a basement by the road. The pasta dishes where ideal for a light lunch with the house white wine: from San Gimignano.

Right next to the Duomo in an alleyway (aka "Road") - who would guess we find a table for 10 at noon and it's one of the best meals since we arrived? Super helpful host and attentive staff as well as tasty food that was fresh in a modern cave with photo's of the Palio surrounding us - we'd go... More

Sit in a cozy alley and enjoy the scenery of Siena. Homemade gnocchi was excellent. Nice spot off the beaten path and prices were very reasonable.

A great gem of a restaurant that took us in without a reservation and my wife and I were not let down. She had a fresh pasta with a meat ragu done I the Tuscan style which is without tomato sauce. I had a succulent beef braised in wine sauce. Dessert was a creamy mascarpone and chocolate. A velvet like... More

Went for full dinner with the wife, Both had salt baked beef with mushrooms and pines nuts starter, unexpectedly served cold, this was actually a good thing as wash such a refreshing starter with meat perfectly rare (no blood) and zingy freshness of lemon juice. Pan fried chicken for main, nice flavour however chicken felt tad rubbery, still more than... More

This restaurant was near our apartment and is located close to the Duomo (which sometimes means its a tourist trap), but we were very pleased with the food and prices. The antipasti offered some interesting variations including an eggplant flan, and my cacio e pepe was perfect. We had to wait quite a long time for the check (longer than... More

Very good and creative Tuscan food, excellent wine, great service in a pleasant atmosphere between the Battistero and the Duomo of Siena.

We stopped here for lunch, we were very pleased with the food. But we waited 20min for our starters and 30min (after we finished our starters) for our main. It was really good but we werent that hungry anymore and we wanted to visit Siena.
