I saw what looked like a muffin in the window...once through the "fuzzy" curtain that served as a door (please note, TONS of signs in english saying "no photos", and they mean it) I was hit with the most amazing aromas. Meats, cheeses, bread, truffles, cookies - all in a setting that made me think I had walked back in... More

We stopped in this very typical place for a quick sandwich, it seemed to be a good place for a reasonable tasty lunch. We first were suprised by the owner waiting for people inside, as soon as you step in he asks you in a rude way to stay in the line!!! We should have left at this moment! But... More

Rather than spending time and money in the cafes in the palazzo, much more worthwhile to grab a plate of sliced meats and cheeses or a sandwich. Absolutely outstanding Tuscan salami, pecorino, prosciutto etc. This was the best stop on a 5 day trip in Tuscany!

Best panini in Italy, the ingredients are the ultimate quality and the locals would agree, the panini prospects, cheese and shaved black truffle with a small bottle of red for under 20 euro, presented on a platter and eaten on a stump in the street. One of the most amazing meals of the Italy tour, you won't regret the experience.

If you want to try real local fast food, this is the place. The best panino boar with olive pesto we have ever tasted.

As we were walking back to our car we ran across this small eatery, the door is covered with colored ropes so you can't see inside. Once you get inside your senses come alive with the meats and cheeses , breads. We wanted to buy it all but of course we couldnt!. We were able to to buy enough for... More

Called in for a lunchtime sandwich and my first impression was 'good but expensive'. There's no prices displayed so it was difficult to gauge - we asked for 2 salami & cheese sandwich's which was exactly what we got, but here's the thing - they were totally bland. White tasteless baguette and very bland cheese. Sandwich was massive but we... More

If you are looking for the local products and an amazing taste this place is a must. Three porchetta sandwiches and a bottle of nice Chianti costed us around €30. Have I mentioned a size of porchetta sandwich was a size of a forearm...and a meat simply delicious. Chat with the owner about the local products (everything there is local!)... More
