From America, first time in Italy, best restaurant experience I’ve ever had truly. Food, service, drinks... 10/10. Towards the end of our experience the waiter said grab you glass and follow me. He led us to an underground area where they kept the wine which...was there 300 years b.c. Can’t say enough, would return without hesitation.More

i know and like good food, and I am prepared te pay for it. I have been in Italy for two weeks now and this restaurant is by far the best. the wine was very good and affordable, the pasta of wild boar and funghi...porcini (a sort of mushroom) was amazing, and - as I mentioned in the title - the cauliflower soufflé was brilliant! Soft, delicate, sweet, yet powerful! You could serve it as a desert! I am definitely going to make both at home!!! o yes, one other thing.. I still had some wine left, so they suggesred and gave me a little bit of cheese to finish it with. They were right. It was perfect combination. GO THERE!!!More

Amazing food, we can still taste the truffles after a few hours of eating. The waiters were so friendly and one really helped us with recommendations for the wine.

The food was very good and high quality . BUT- for me a good dinner is also about atmosphere ... and that was not necessarily good since we were told we have between 7-8:50 pm to dine . We were rushed through dinner. And at...all time felt we had to empty our seats for the next shift of hungry tourists . The staff was nice but also not very patient ...we felt rushed to chose our menu .... eat and leave . We have paid 215 euros for dinner with a family of four. The prize was ok for the quality but not for the overall experience. We would not come back - sorry.More

WOW!!! This is such an amazing restaurant and a must visit if you are in Siena. You need to book as it’s very popular and rightly so! From the moment we walked in we were made to feel extremely welcome. Every single member of staff...were so lovely. The food was absolutely incredible and the building was beautiful. Special thanks to Lucca our waiter who made our evening. I would recommend the truffle and spinach antipasti parcels, the boar and tiramisu! Amazing!!More

The restaurant itself is very charming, but the food and service match the surroundings. The staff were incredibly friendly and engaging. They even treated us to a tour of their centuries old cellar which is perfect for storing the wine and cheeses. The food was...incredible. All in all a great experience and you will be missing out if you don't visit whilst in Siena.More

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, you have to go if visiting Siena. We were staying 25 mins drive outside and it was 100% worth the trip. Starting with the food, the selection available is vast making it very hard to choose. The quality is...brilliant, it was a meal you didn't want to end! Real home Italian cooking. The wine! There is a vast list and an amazing wine cellar which if you ask, they'll let you go down and have a look, it's pretty cool. Price wise it is great value for the quality but is more mid range, again, worth every penny ! Lastly, the staff, they're all so friendly and helpful and make you want to do back! The small touches like a glass of prosecco whilst you wait for your wine to breathe or the little stool they bring our for your handbag, it all makes the experience a brilliant one. If it is difficult to book, keep trying. It'll be so worth the wait.More
