Food and local wine were very good. Very affordable. Friendly service. Would recommend and definitely return. Side note: As soon as the waiter noticed I had stained my shirt, he brought me an anti stain spray. Attentive! :)

We very much enjoyed our lunch at Trattoria Chiribiri and would suggest this restaurant to anyone visiting San Gimignano. Our favorite tables were outside the kitchen just to the left as you enter the city gate.

The food was delicious. We had the pasta with wild boar, shrimp, and pasta with mushrooms. The house white wine was perfect.

After 2 weeks in Italy dining everywhere this little unexpected treasure delivered the goods. House wine with Gorgonzola beef and sautéed spinach for me and truffle linguine for my husband. Perfecto with some legit ambiance. Menu in English and takes credit cards.

We were very excited to eat here as the reviews were quite good. However upon arrival we were very disappointed by the service. We waited 20 mins for someone to take our order at 730pm ( not too early!) and we were the only ones there! Before receiving our meals we heard a microwave sound a few times. We didn't... More

We had read about this place saying it was authentic food and decided to try it, but we're really disappointed. A bit expensive... A salad and two pasta plates plus wine for €40. They didn't have what was in the menu and the food was average.

We stopped in San Gim for something to eat in the late afternoon. Starving on arrival and so pretty much stepped into the first place we found using the TA map. Not sure we'd have found it at a otherwise. Glad we did though. All of the food was lovely, as was also being commented by our neighbours at the... More

We spent a week in San Gimignano. Each place we ate was excellent but Trattoria Chiribiri was by far the best and the only eating place I have chosen to review in the town. We ate two evening meals at this restaurant and had different menu items each time. The food is very much like traditional home cooking. The owner... More

We came here for a quick meal after a late arrival in San Gim and on a recommendation. The trattoria is not pretentious but a really hearty restaurant that is about good food without airs and graces. The host was highly amusing and made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable - in fact so good that we came back for a... More
