We booked at the restaurant knowing that it was rated number 1 by Trip Advisor. On presentation of the menu, I was totally taken by surprise- the food combination were strange and I had never heard of some of the foods. I was quite disappointed but then decided to go for it. I was blown away at the quality, presentation... More

We struggled to order as all the food sounded so good, and so it proved to be. The Messovo was particularly spectacular, but all of the dishes were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious - classic Tuscan ingredients presented in totally innovative ways. We sat in the outside courtyard, which was very atmospheric. All the staff were welcoming and patient, and... More

What a brilliant restaurant. We almost didn't eat here, after we needed to cancel a previous evening due to our travel plans changing. Luckily we did manage to get in one late evening, and we don't regret it. It was the best meal we had in Tuscany, by a long way. It wasn't just the courses we ordered that impressed,... More

Cum Quibus is not an easy place to describe: ineffable is a good word. You could say the usual sort of things about imaginative food, unusual tastes and breathtaking creativity in terms of the food, and it is all true. You could talk about the extensive and excellent wine list which is great value - our bottle of Chianti was... More

We had dinner at Cum Quibus on the strength of the many good reviews. We were not disappointed. The dishes are of very good quality and quite inventive - Italian fare with a twist. Service was, how to put it politely, a little aloof - the juice for our daughter took ages to arrive, one starter we had ordered was... More

Together with my girlfriend and her parents we ordered four mains: Beef loin with truffle and pork cheeks. Very delicious. We also got three free dishes and an appetiser (local Spumante). Probably the most delicious restaurant visit in my life (age: 27). Enjoy!

Nice food, great wine, small courtyard but the interior decoration could have been a bit more authentic. Best dinner in the area.

We had read great reviews on this place so thought we would try it, wandered in on the off chance and were able to get a table as they had just had a cancellation - luckily for us! The pasta was really special - unique, beautifully presented and full of flavour, and the beef main was perfect in every way.... More

Visited this restaurant in July for dinner. The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. The menu was so different from the usual Tuscan food we had eaten in other restaurants during our holiday. It was presented really well. The wine list offered great choices and the waiter was exceptionally knowledgeable. Try and get a table in the... More

We visited twice in June and on both times had a fantastic experience. The food is exquisite . It is not typical Italian fare so don't go if just want pizza and pasta. This is Italian cuisine taken to a whole new level. I like my wine and Lorenzo has picked a great wine list and will recommend just the... More
