Go over an overnight while visiting San Gimignano

We visited this tiny tiny winery two years ago and bought a case to ship home. The family was so accommodating and sweet we decided to return for a night & breakfast on route to Siena. Accommodations are rustic, clean and real. Good hot water and heat during November kept us comfortable. It was... read more

This tour is pretty basic nuts and bolts of wine making- you really appreciate how hard the work can be. The owner provided the tour and was happy to talk about wine making, history, and sharing experiences with our group of 8. They prepared a very tasty Tuscan buffet style lunch that included various meats, vegetables and salads. This also... More

Very welcoming, they were in the middle of giving a large group their meal but had no problem in spending time with us in the little shop below. Some fantastic wines, you can taste them all...and he'll wrap up the bottles in boxes etc. ready for the trip home!

This place is spectacular. Think working farm meets castle village town. This is everything I expected to find in Tuscany. The owners are wonderful hosts and speak fantastic english. We felt like we were at home. The grounds and lodging are beautiful. The wine was very good as well. We ordered take out from the restaurant down the road so... More

Spent one morning on the small but hard working vineyard. Our host was delightful and well knowledgable. The prices are reasonable for their Classico wines! Well worth a visit!

We brought a group of students here for a 2 night stay. Wonderful and generous meals, with many products produced on site including delicous wine! In the midst of the Tuscan countryside but also very close to the town of San Gimignano.

Really nice authentic dinner but nothing I was blown away by personally. Pasta was solid, appetizer selection was very nice and second plate was a veal cutlet that was good. If you want to have an family style meal where you sit at a large table and converse with guests this is for you. I enjoyed the company more than... More

We did a wine tour in Fattoria San Donato and it was amazing. I have done many wine tasting around the world, and this was my favorite! Humberto was absolutely a fantastic host and he walked us through his vineyards explaining very interesting facts about his farm. We then looked at the actual factory where wine is produced and learned... More

We booked a Celebrity tour of San Gimignano & Volterra when cruising the Mediterranean on the Equinox. After visiting Volterra and before reaching San Gimignano the tour took us for lunch to Fattoria San Donato. We stayed a couple of relaxing hours and had a family style lunch that was the highlight of the day. Lunch was served in a... More
