Tasty food with visual appeal. The pear with sheep cheese had outstanding flavor and was visually delightful. Six of us ate lunch here outside on the piazza, and all were pleased with their meals. This was away from the crowds, prices were reasonable, and service was good.

A LOT of clutter and stuff to distract from the food. But friendly service and good Tuscan food. We had everything from beef in chianti to pizza and it was all good.

Great small restaurant in San Gimignano serving simple but delicious food and local wine. It is really worth to try their pici pasta with white meat sauce and gnocchi with fresh truffles. It is highly recommended to book a table before.

Whether at lunchtime or early evening this is a wonderful space to enjoy local cooking at its best. Our waitress was charming and the service very good. The food was simply terrific. So good we returned for lunch, having had dinner the previous evening.

Stop everything and head to this place. Been here a week and this is the best meal I've had. So delicious, great service, beautiful piazza. Come here, you won't be sorry. I ordered the "vegetable pudding" appetizer and the pici with the house meat sauce. Soooooo good, I want to eat it over and over again. Free shot of Lemoncello... More

What a cosy place with such accommodating staff. Our spirits on a rainy day were immediately lifted when arriving at this restaurant. We're vegetarian and even though it wasn't on the menu, the chef made us the most delicious tomato and basil pasta (one of the best we've ever had). We'd recommend this to anyone in the area - on... Sited in an ancient piazza next door to an equally ancient church, this cafe is often crowded but not so around 7pm. I ordered pear and pecorino dressed with honey and balsamic glaze and it was simple and delicious. There was only one wine I could get by the glass. The panna cotta tasted off - I have made it... The food was good but not exceptional. The frost in the air was palpable, and that was from the owner. Perhaps, they have been dealing with tourists just too long.

Our family really enjoyed dinner at this restaurant. The ragu was absolutely wonderful and my daughter enjoyed her braised beef immensely. However, the service was not great. Most of the wait staff was unfriendly.

Wonderful evening and hearty tasty food at this busy place. My sister discovered it in an undisturbed square at the bottom of the town. Everything we are and everything we saw being served up looked fresh and generous, but the speciality, saffron pannacotta had just the right amount of wobble and a gloriously fragrant and unusual sauce. A real holiday... More
