The food was good but not exceptional. The frost in the air was palpable, and that was from the owner. Perhaps, they have been dealing with tourists just too long.

Our family really enjoyed dinner at this restaurant. The ragu was absolutely wonderful and my daughter enjoyed her braised beef immensely. However, the service was not great. Most of the wait staff was unfriendly.

Wonderful evening and hearty tasty food at this busy place. My sister discovered it in an undisturbed square at the bottom of the town. Everything we are and everything we saw being served up looked fresh and generous, but the speciality, saffron pannacotta had just the right amount of wobble and a gloriously fragrant and unusual sauce. A real holiday... More

We visited this restaurant for a nice chilled dinner and it was just lovely! The staff were very welcoming and smiley and the food was brought out really quickly. We really enjoyed the pizzas, the bases were exactly as they should be, really thin and light and crispy with yummy toppings. We also had some pasta which was pretty good... More

Located slightly away from the main area of the town this restaurant is on a quiet square with a small well shaded terrace. The menu is small but with a good choice. Although appearing a little chaotic the service is excellent and friendly. We visited once for lunch and on another occasion fro dinner. Very good food each time.

It is difficult to find a nice restaurant away from the million of yourselves (tourists) but this restaurant works. Close to parking lot 3 and thus ideal to have a diner before heading back, it is a family run place with good (but not over the top) Italian food.

We came here for a really yummy lunch after mass at Sant'Agostino. Their pasta is delicious! And the vibe is funky and down home.

The restaurant has a big dining area outside and it is on a very quiet square where you can sit and relax. We got egg with truffle (so simple, but yet a perfect match), bruschetta with truffle and gnocci with truffle. Wonderfull dishes - simple dishes, no decoration - just pure taste. We were very happy with our meal. We... More

I enjoyed having lunch at this restaurant. It is hard to find a good option among the range of very touristic restaurants in San Gimignano, but this was recommended by our B&B host. It did not disappoint. The pizza was good, and I especially enjoyed the bruschetta with pecorino cheese and truffle. It is located off the main street, on... More

Nicely tucked away from the crowds. Good and reasonably priced food, satisfactory, friendly service.
