amazing street food

if you look for a snack with a Tuscany flavor this is your place, In a small shop with few place inside you can taste from a take away sandwiches to mixed plates. This is a cheap and easy solution for tasting ribollita, lampredotto, Colonnata's lard etc...and other delicatessen of Tuscany

Wow! Highly recommend the platter for two!

Speechless! Delicious! Tasty! We had a superb experience enjoying a platter for two with a glass of wine and some Cantucce with a typical liquor as dessert. The service was great. Overall an amazing experience! I’ve heard that during weekends the queue gets long and waiting times increase. We have been there on a Tuesday evening without waiting time. If you are in Pisa, check out this place!

The best panino I ever had!

I’ve had many sandwiches in my life, not only in Italy but across the world. Before going to Pisa I’ve asked people what should I visit, 3 different persons recommended I visit ‘I Porci Comodi’. Although I wasn’t too hungry I decided to visit it. I order a No. 18 and had a chat with the owners while it was being prepared... really friendly people! Just before I got my panino they prepared a board with all sort of hams, cheese and fruits. Looked amazing! A few minutes later I got my sandwich and I can only say it was the best one I ever had. The combination of flavours was amazing while each element of it could also be tasted... such an incredible experience. If you are ever in Pisa stop by this place, they live up to their reputation and it’s well worth it! I’m definitely coming back! An Argentinian

This is the third time I come to this place. Highly frequented by the young students at the university of Pisa, each time I chose to take away and it under the trees near by. Each time, I was helped by a different person, and each time they were interested in my origins, and they talked to me with friendly and with absolute kindness. Each time they helped me choose what to order, and today they offered me a slice of Prosciuto to make sure I would appreciate it. I highly recommend this place.

Magnificent!

We always do research for a good meat platter and wine for breakfast around the Mediterranean and god damn it we hit the spot on this place. The platter was full (only €20) of amazing local cured meat and cheese. The wine is also locally produced and just amazing. Service is also uncomplainingly good. Please come here and enjoy good prices, amazing food and service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The best mortadella roll in Pisa!

The best Mortadella roll in Pisa! Simple concept, order your roll which had plenty of choice of fillings, its made up and you take it to eat outside either in the seating area or on the hop. The staff were friendly with plenty of banter. A delicious crusty roll rammed full with delicious mortadella. €10 for 2 filling rolls was a bargain for lunch, ideal for those on a budget or wanting lunch on the move. Well worth a visit!

Super friendly staff which is one of the best things about this place (apart from the great food!). The guys here welcome you in like it’s their home and look after you well. I had a platter for 1 which was plenty of food with a selection of meats, cheese, pear and marmalade, bruschetta and bread with a nice glass of Sangiovese. Small amount of seating inside, otherwise they let you take the boards to the small square nearby to eat. Very large menu, but you can’t go wrong with a platter. Very instagramable and goes great with their wine!

Lovely food served by lovely people

My wife and I stumbled across I Porci Comodi when we were roaming around the city on our last evening in Pisa. We had an early flight the next day and wanted to take something delicious from Pisa on the plane with us. Both of the sandwiches that we got were fantastic and the team went out of their way to make sure that the ingredients would stay fresh and tasty. It's obvious that you truly care about your guests and about your food! Un abrazo de Madrid and grazie mille!

Great place for lunch

Great venue on one for the narrow alleys close to the Leaning tower of Pisa. We went as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids 9yo and 6 yo) and we found the service to be excellent, very friendly people who were patient with my husband’s Italian and served us a delicious platter of meats and cheeses plus fresh bread to die for. The food was excellent, everything fresh and nicely presented. We would definitely return

Delicious lunch spot 7mins from the tower

Highly recommend stopping by I Porci Comodi - we were greeted by the friendliest staff, special mention to Delia who gave us afew recommendations on what to eat as the menu is vast. We had the platter for two which had a sample of all the meats and cheese and a local beer and wine. We watched on as the line grew so recommend coming before the midday rush or prepare to wait in line. It’s well worth it :)

Excellent panini - go get one!!! (they have vegan/vegetarian options too)

This authentic panini place is situated on a calm piazza in the city center of Pisa. It’s the perfect spot to relax and grab something to eat, away from the tourist crowds. The waiter Fabrizio recommended me a vegetarian sandwich, which tasted veeeeery good - you can tell they’re using fresh and high quality products. The rest of the team was very friendly as well! I would definitely come back next time and recommend it 100%.

Charcuterie heaven

Excellent value and quality charcuterie boards and focaccia/panini/sandwich. Eat in or out - made to order by very friendly and helpful staff serving quality draft beers, wines, prosecco etc. we ordered a takeaway the night before we travelled home and the guy serving was very helpful, wrapping everything to ensure the quality was maintained. Recommend a visit. Best we had in Tuscany.

Fantastic food - recommended to all meat eaters.

We had dinner for a family. This is a wonderful place if you are a hearty meat eater. Sharing boards are really tasty and absolutely huge and draft beers on tap. No pasta and pizza - meat, meat, meat - and a bit of cheese 😀

Best Tuscan cheese and meat platter

The best experience of cheese and meat platter at a very reasonable price but with the best taste and quality!! Staff were very helpful and friendly as we know nothing in Italian😅 Wine selection was great and again not pricy. We also tried this raw minced pork bruschetta with truffle. It tastes surprisingly nice. I would recommend this place for tourist who wants to try good quality Tuscan food and wine but don’t want to pay ridiculous price. Try their sandwich with wild boar filling.

Nothing to write home about

Ate here in December 2022 but the food is certainly not up to Italian standard. Focaccias were not fresh/tasty, the cheese platter average and certainly not worth. You pay for a pint of beer, but they only fill half of the glasses. Safe yourself the trouble of queuing for ages. Very touristy and no value for money.
