Searching for a place to eat - this time no Pizza - we found this nice, oldfashioned place. The owner´s father? is cooking himself. It was no Problem to get nudels only.. Kids an we were confident. And it was not so expensive.

A small, family pizzeria with an intimate, Toto' stacked ambience (where else can you read the famous letter from La Malafemmina while munching?) with the best napolitano pizza in Pisa. Unique varieties (try the pizza pinolata or the 'Nduja or pizza DOC). No credit cards accepted. In front of Sant'Andrea and next to Galileo's birthplace so worth the stroll to... More

I'm embarrassed to say that in four days (three in Rome, one in Pisa), we managed to eat pizza at least twice a day, which is why the bathroom scales are complaining now. However, La Tombola's was the absolute best we had. Having been recommended by the fine people at Millibar, we were anything but disappointed - cute and quaint... More

Ended up coming here after trying to go somewhere else to find it was closed. The building looked small and quant, the inside decor was interesting and funky. I think we clashed with the service as when we got there, there was no one around and we had to wait for a while till someone turned up. Eventually we managed... More

What a hidden gem! We stumbled across this place and ended up going back the following two nights. Pizza and pasta were fantastic. Even language was not a barrier to getting great service and enjoying a quiet meal. We were made so welcome and prices were very fair. Oh and the limoncello is to die for!

I have found this accidentally and it had the best pizza of my life. Fresh ingredients and very tasty. It has also a lot of local people. But I... More

We visited La Tombola in July 2013, and we got the best Pizzas in the world. We came 3 times to eat pizza, because the place has a lot of Italian atmosphere and so many different Pizzas to choose - you have to visit La Tombola, when you are in Pisa - for your own sake! Birthe and Jorgen from... More

Ok, Pizza is good, and there are innovative ingredients in some Pizzas, like Calabria's "Nduja". But in my opinion it is better forgoing these dishes. First of all, In other locations in Pisa you can eat a pizza as tasty as in this restaurant, but in many of these locations: - The atmosphere is better, the tables are wider and... More

Very small yet very 'pitoresco' and with a fantastic cosy environment and a delightful Pizza! Very well priced as well, makes this restaurant worth a visit to any tourist in Pisa in search of a very good Pizza :-)
