This review is long overdue but better late than never. It's easy to get lost in all of the tourist traps and restaurants when in Pisa around the leaning tower but when you cross that bridge and venture around you can find some great places. We had been in Italy for a bit when we got to Pisa so knew... More

Very kind personnel. Strong smell of smoke from the fireplace but pleasant otherwise. Deserts were exceptionally good, far better than many dedicated pattiseries in the town.

We called to reserve a table for two, but the restaurant was closed. They decided to open for us anyway. We had the chance to eat alone the best food I have ever tasted. Everything was tasty and home made. They (the owners) were extremely friendly and we had the chance to talk with them about basically everything. They made... More

Fabulous food served here, staff did not speak much English but with help if Google translate all was well. Typical tuscan restaurant serving amazing food and fine wines. Open fire where the steaks are cooked to perfection. A little of the tourist trail but if you want to taste the real foods of the area you must visit.

We've spent a wonderful evening here in November. The waiters were very kind and helpful. The dishes were absolutely delicious, so was the wine. Definitely worth a visit!

My friends and I had such a wonderful evening here! We were made to feel so welcome. The wine recommendations were perfect, the menus delicious and reasonably priced, and the conversation priceless. I would recommend it to everyone.

After traveling for a day, we were looking for a nice dinner to open our visit to Italy. We only gad to walk down our alley/street to find the door open and welcoming. A special of 3 meats, 3 fish dishes or 3 veggie dishes was available for 20 euros. My husband chose the meat option and had many great... More

Extremely friendly waiter who coped well with our lack of Italian. Got the menu of the day which was so much delicious food and a glass of wine. Authentic surroundings. A great meal!

Rolando was such a friendly host, especially for a ourselves, who speak quite limited Italian. He really made an effort to welcome us. The interior was very warm and homely and had a family feel to it. The food was excellent. We both had the vegetable set menu, which for €20 was the best priced food we had in Italy,... More

They offer 3 course meals for 20 euros. We both chose the meat version. (you can choose seafood or vegetarian as well) The meal was really amazing. It was so good that we had to try a dessert as well. We had crème brûlée and it was great!

Thank Niki K

We are open for dinner every day of the week (starting from 7PM). Depending on the season, the availability of the main ingredients, and the maintenance activities to be performed, we might be closed one of the first three days of the week. Open for lunch upon reservation. We will welcome you to our place, share with you our cooking, our great selection of wines and, most of all, a pleasant time.
