Extremely friendly waiter who coped well with our lack of Italian. Got the menu of the day which was so much delicious food and a glass of wine. Authentic surroundings. A great meal!

Rolando was such a friendly host, especially for a ourselves, who speak quite limited Italian. He really made an effort to welcome us. The interior was very warm and homely and had a family feel to it. The food was excellent. We both had the vegetable set menu, which for €20 was the best priced food we had in Italy,... More

They offer 3 course meals for 20 euros. We both chose the meat version. (you can choose seafood or vegetarian as well) The meal was really amazing. It was so good that we had to try a dessert as well. We had crème brûlée and it was great!

We decided to visit osterio del violino after seeing the trip advisor reviews online and was not disappointed. The fish and vegetarian set menu's we had for €20 each were eccelente. Rolando the owner was very hospitable and gave us complementary meloncello which was delicious. We would thoroughly recommend if you are in Pisa and want to visit a traditional... More

We were recommended by the owner of our guest house and this place is truly amazing. Great decoration, brilliant food. The chefs were very welcoming too, making the whole experience very personal and family like. We tried the sea food and meat tasting menu. Very reasonable price (€20 for each set of three courses) and the best Italian food I... More

This was recommended by a friend and it took a bit of finding but it was well worth it. The chef also waited in tables and told you all about the food, and even brought the fish (still moving so couldn't get fresher) for us to look at. For €20 you get a 3 course meal of fish, beef or... More

We visited due to location near our base in Pisa on first night in town ..... It is a very friendly homily place where a limited menu is explained by owner chef . Best to go with flow and choose between the fish or meat menus and trust chef choice ! It all works and with extensive wine choices ........... More

Best food in Pisa! Didn't know how good the food was! Amazing proportions and very good price! I ate in Milan, Paris, Amsterdam, Venice, Verona, Frankfurt, Florence, and Rome. This is the best meal I had in Europe. Best in Italy! Definitely worth the price! Great atmosphere and the chef is so friendly. He doesn't know much English but he... More
