Very good small restaurant in Pisa, Italy! Very close to the Arno river, down a quiet alleyway! What you think of when you think of an Italian restaurant. The dishes we ordered were delicious. The staff was courteous and great!

Very nice little restaurant. Good wine list, many by the half-bottle. The appetizer I had included the best pesto I have ever had (made mine look meager by comparison), a lovely chunk of burrata and onion jam! Service was excellent. Courtyard dining was delightful.

Sat in the lovely terrace at the back which was cool and quiet. With shared the "meat taster" to start which was actually a board of local fresh "tapas" type food which was plenty for two and a nice surprise. Then we both had pasta. Both pastas were full of flavour but not to rich considering one was with gorgonzola.... More

Terrific restaurant and the most friendly staff in Pisa....bar none. Absolutely fabulous. Really great food and great portions. The selection of wines is great and none of them too pricey. We were there with a large group and they looked after us so well and joined in our fun. Very accommodating, really nice people and great value for money. If... More

Went to this restaurant with my husband last night. Small and very friendly. Food was really good. I couldn't make up my mind whether to have risotto or spaghetti so the waiter offered half and half. Excellent. The risotto came first and even a half portion I couldn't finish, will have to go back some other time to try the... More

This restaurant was recommended by our AirBnB host since it was close and good. We were surprised by the very knowledgeable and helpful waiting staff and the quality and presentation of the food. We shared a starter of marinated sea bream which was excellent. Then I had strip steak with pecorino cheese and a side of roasted vegetables and my... More

The menu for this restaurant was not extensive but the dishes that we had were excellently cooked and very tasty. Most of the choices are quite 'gourmet' and in the absence of a children's menu, our 9 year old granddaughter struggled to find anything to her taste. All credit to the restaurant though, as we explained our predicament and they... More

We arrived at around one o'clock after a 20 minute walk from the railway station. Initially we were impressed with this restaurant which is very well furnished. We placed our order but instead of a trout dish my wife was served with sea bream or sea bass with prawns. When this was queried, the waiter shrugged it off and wasn't... More

My hotel booked a table for me. I expected a good seating. The reality was between a table at the entrance or the toilet. The meat was burnt. The staff tried but not enough. I was glad that at least the wine was good

First of all, the food is great and that's important. We had nice starters, some pasta and a great bistecca fiorentina, absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, the rooms are very hot and no air is coming in. Once all other guests have left, we were able to open the window to get some air but then of course the moscito's were all... More
