The only recommendation is not to go there. The owner or operator should not be anywhere near catering and restaurants. Food was just bad. Ravioli swimming in cream. Bolognese sauce that smells and tastes like it is coming from the can. The waitress could also not look so bothered she is working on a Sunday.

The food it's ok, but I cannot say it's an excellent place. I ordered pasta for dinner and it came to the table quickly. The funniest point and that surprised us more, was that outside is written: "We do not cook Pizza" and in the menu is written, but they specify that it's frozen. I understand people continued to ask... More

Local corner caff. Not bad at all and handy for the hotel. My Insalata Di mare was mainly cuttlefish and octopus. My fritto misto was prawns and squid in a light batter. I love this kind of stuff. We had an insalata mista and a pomodori salad with the main course. Help yourself to olive oil and balsamic vinegar. How... More

Writing the review as I eat as I can't describe how below average this place is. Nestled between some fabulous restaurants we ended up here due to not having reserved nearby places. All meals were blind, tasteless and the female server was abrupt and practically threw glasses on the table. We had spent a week in the province of Lucca... More

As my Italian is far from perfect tried to speak English but strange in a tourist area the waiter didn't understand a word. The caprese was with dry herbs and the mozzarella was harder as you can imagine. Our next hope was the spaghetti Pomodoro- a medium quality spaghetti with a no taste red souce. We have not eaten as... More

It is realy weird how these places may be found in such gourmet country. Very simple, not tasty at all, without imagination. you may cook better at home. the only explanation for its existence is tourism.

We hadn't had a meal in a long time and really looked forward for a good meal. Spaghetti was the signature dish here. We ordered two Carbonara's, one ragú (Bolognese) and our oldest boy wanted a Cottoleta Milanese. We confirmed the order in Italian as well s in English nd still got the wrong food. The pasta was overcooked and... More

Was wary about having dinner here after reading the reviews but decided to bite the bullet and see what it was like. We had carbonara, arrabiata and puttanesca pastas and all were really tasty. The house red was very pleasant and smooth and had we not had to get up early in the morning to catch a train we could've... More

Pasta arrived without a wiff of salt, totally bland. For a restaurant that prides itself on its pasta dishes....It really doesn't make the grade.

If you are looking for a plain meal (some pasta, a little fish or meat, a glass of wine), nothing special, this will do. The waiters were kind and helpful, and the general atmosphere was good. If you have only little time, this place is good.
