This unassuming and intimate restaurant on the outskirts of central Pisa accommodates just a few tables and is not surprisingly always fully booked. The food is authentic tuscan cuisine with fresh ingredients. Try the meat dishes.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! It isn't far from the tower and the square of miracles but it down a street that doesn't have much else on it, so it would be easy to miss. If you want to go to a restaurant where it isn't tourist central, the food is incredible and authentic and the wine just as... More

I'm usually skeptic with restaurant so close to touristic attraction And this restaurant is 3 min walk from the Pisa tower, in front of the main parking area . Well, After parking I was looking for a place to have lunch with family before visiting the tower etc... The restaurant was full but the waiter, very kindly, found a place... More

Very nice staff and a welcome drink The pasta was delicious, a lot of choice of amazing wine in a small bottle which is often enough for two persons. The deserts were surprising and fantastic Better book in advance as the place is small

We all ordered something different The pomodoro pasta is very fresh and the duck is perfectly cooked. The pasta Alla ragu da nona is homely as you would expect and the amatricciana was just to die for. Highly recommend, it a couple of short blocks further away from Pisa but worth for great service and food! Where Italians eat!

Very well located, less than 5 minutes from the tower, this place is certainly worth a visit. The restaurant is small but cozy and nicely decorated with wine barrels and bottles of wine. The menu is small, which is always a good sign. We had a delicious carne salata as a starter to share. The portion was big enough for... More

We were recommend this restaurant by the hotel and were very lucky to reserve a table. It was full and we were the only non Italians in the restaurant. Both myself and my husband had pasta and thoroughly enjoyed it. Note :Italian dishes including bacon pieces in Italy tend to be more salty than the UK version of Italian food.

I went around one year ago and I still remember as one of the best restaurants in Pisa. It is important to book.

Long weekend in Pisa.. booked here as close to hotel...and so glad we did. Food was fantastic, nice friendly service. Very busy so recommend booking as we did. Reasonable value for money.. would have been great value had the exchange rate for UK not been so poor!!

Came across this restaurant as we left the tower. Decor looked great and it was full in the lunchtime so always a good sign. The menu is in Italian and whilst I appreciate that we could have tried with the language the English speaking waitress went out of her way to be as unhelpful as possible. The ordering process was...
