We ate here on the basis of the fact it was near our hotel and had good reviews on Trip Advisor. Sadly we found the staff rather surly (even towards the locals) and the food average. The restaurant is like a time capsule and maybe having too many excellent Italian meals in London where competition is fierce has spoilt our... More

We where here with friends. The restaurant has a real authentic and old feeling fitting Pisa. The owners (70+) are still working there on daily bases and very friendly. The main course was good, not great, and made with passion. The desserts are heaven! Try the lemon dessert!

We ate here for lunch, no trouble getting a table. We were welcomed in, dining with our young children. We enjoyed three delicious pasta dishes and the house wine. The menu is in Italian and English, which is always helpful. The owner took great care of us and even treated our daughters to souvenirs. We look forward to our next... More

The owner and staff were so friendly and made our evening. We shared some fish starters and the main meal was superb. With trio of desserts to finish. With wine and coffee bill was 90 EUR well worth the money. Thanks again for your food.

This is a delightful restaurant in a convenient location; well worth a visit. It was full, but we were made most welcome and given a good table and personal, but not obtrusive service. It is obviously popular with people who live and work in the area and had a lively and delightful clientele; as well as the owner. We had... More

Stumbled upon this restaurant after walking around Pisa looking for somewhere decent to eat. On entering the establishment we were greeted by a stern looking gentleman who transpired to be a very humorous and accommodating lovely man. I ordered lamb cutlets and my husband ordered beef fillet, both were of the highest quality, served with the freshest of vegetables consisting... More

It was obviously popular with people who lived locally. It was a pleasure to watch other people's food being brought out as it all looked interesting. The owners took an obvious pride in their cooking and were delighted that we were so pleased with both food and the wine we chose. The spaghetti with baby squid and calimare was delicious.... More

Close to railway station and hotel where were staying. It's a series of smallish rooms and has all the hall marks of being family run. A mix of Italians and tourists. Caprese salad was average-followed by a tasty pasta with asparagus. Ice cream desert with a fruit compote was very nice. A few glasses of red wine. Coffee plus grappa... More

What a great find! Recommended by hotel and close by, tucked away on quiet street. We enjoyed it very much! I had a delicious home made pasta with shrimp and asparagus that was delicious.

Never disappointed coming to this restaurant on our last night in Italy before flying out. This must be our 4th time of eating here. It is a nice cosey place and the owner is amusing.
