We came by on a Friday night. We started with the seafood fantasia. A spectacular antipasti. A plate of mussels, sweet on their own and bathed in a lemon, wine and butter sauce. Tuna carpaccio was delicate and meaty at the same time, melting on my tongue. Wonderful bruschetta with crab and tomato. A warm octopus salad, tender octopus on a... More

The food was amazing, the Tuscan soup is to die for, their seafood dishes are the best I have ever had. The service was top notch, very attentive but not too in your face. They spoke very little English, but that wasn't a problem. Location wise it's not in the centre but was very close to our apartment. We got... More

Whilst this restaurant is not located in the most salubrious of places it is a safe area. Old world Tuscan farmhouse styled interior. Good choice of foods available opted for fish for a change from pasta, this proved an excellent choice, cooked to perfection and served with a smile. The wine list has some very nice variations and not expensive.... More

We enjoyed the food so much on our first visit that we went back the following night. The owner spoke little English but still managed to explain the menu with great patience and humour. The food was delicious, especially the home made apple cake, and the wine list was very reasonably priced. All in all a great place to experience... More

We had our last meal in Italy here and were not disappointed! It is quite a spacious restaurant which could do with some softer lighting but the food made up for it! Huge portions, very tasty and served with a lovely bottle of red. Good home cooked Italian food and very reasonably priced!

Excellent bottle of wine only €11 nothing fancy but a good choice for the list. Sit back enjoy. Sea food platter good and so big you might struggle with the main course. Main course of king prawns excellent and the bream was really good. I will go back The bill was perfectly reasonable at €85 including wine and service which... More

We had a great meal here! Generous portions, down home cooking, and great prices. We were all very happy with our food. However, the best part was the owners! Having a small child in a restaurant can be stressful. Our experience at Da Marios was amazing. The owners helped us choose a meal that our baby would enjoy (ate a... More

we have been to this restaurant about a month ago and we ate really good. Recommended by the owner of the guest house where we were staying, we were very pleased with the quality and the genuineness of its food and the kindness of the owners. The restaurant is very cozy and pleasant.

The only bad meal my wife and I had in Italy – and, believe me, it wasn’t just mediocre but bad: as a professional-standard cook myself, I’d be ashamed to serve a meal of this quality, not just to guests/customers but even on an everyday, family basis. To have it served to me in an upmarket restaurant just makes me... More
