Found this wonderful Osteria through a blog. It is located in a neighborhood full of locals and outside the high traffic tourist areas. Tried to get in on a Saturday night without reservations but the place was packed. The hostess said she couldn't seat us until after 10:30 so we went elsewhere for wine and bruschetta and came back later.... More

We had lunch here after visiting the Leaning tower. The food was excellent. The pumpkin soup was mouth watering and not much of a meat lover myself, I enjoyed my husband's order of meat balls as well! It is a small and cozy restaurant with great food. We were happy to not eat pizza and pasta for once and to... More

Food was little, considered what you pay, but good. The waitress not so gentle, I wouldn't go back again.

We enjoyed very nice food in Osteria di Culegna. The restaurant was very busy when we visited and understaffed with just 1 waiter. But he did his best to serve our needs.

Hand written menu highlights a relaxed atmosphere and flexible attitude to dining. Menu written in Italian but explained in detail by waiters on our two visits there. Service a little slow but we were in no hurry. Food simple but extremely tasty. We ordered the house white and it went down a treat. Not a pizza and pasta tourist place.... More

Amazing quality food and great value. Seemed to be popular with locals. Accommodated my 7 & 9 year olds. No pizza or bog standard fare in sight, well worth hunting out!

The entrance to this restaurant is a smart but simple wooden and glass door. When you walk in this simplicity follows through and you are presented with a homely convivial space. Staff and particularly the 'donna sporgenza' are extremely helpful and thorough in their attention to you and your ordering. The food is simply SPECTACULAR and classically Tuscan. It is... More

Good italian food & good value in central Pisa. We had pappa pomodoro, fish soup and baccala' and all of it was really tasty. We've been here twice (both in winter and summer) and it's been great both times.

On one of the hottest days of this July we visited Pisa and found this restaurant between the river Arno and the Piazza dei Cavalieri. Although it was very quiet that noon time we were treated like kings by the 3 ladies and the cook. We had 4 different pasta's with contorni and all of them were delicious. Definitely a... More

Like it wasn't cheap considering it wasn't very filling... My ravioli was €9 and had, at most, 6 squares.... :((( I mean it tasted very good!! My friend had pesto and my god it tasted amazing. But it's just not a place to come to if you're on a budget
