Would definitely recommend excellent food and very friendly attentive staff. Cod pasta was exquisite and I wanted to come back the next day.

We found this restaurant based on reviews on the internet and were so glad! It was our best meal in one week in Tuscany! The grilled octopus salad was to die for as was the seafood salad. Everything else we had was also fantastic and the service was also very good. Definitely try to eat here if in Pisa!

We walked 15 minutes from Pisa's tower but it was worthy. The grilled octopus salad was very good. Highly recommend the T-bone. Good meat but even better cooking point. The waiteress very friendly and effective. Only minus is the temperature of the red wine: a bit warm. On and all it is a place to recommend to a friend.

We had an indoor table upstairs in a windowless room. The service was effective but cool, without a lot of discussion or recommendation. The starters were well presented and tasty, a little large given the main course we chose but good. The main course was the steak, a speciality of the region. A large t-bone on a bed of rocket... We were really lucky to get a recommendation from local people who told us to eat in Il Campano. First the restaurant is far from the crowded touristic area around the Tower and il Duomo. Then it has an impressive wine list and on top of that we got good wine recommendation from the waitress. Food was delicious and the... More

Anything that I will say about this place cannot describe it properly! At first you should be very careful to notice it because it's hidden inside the alley. The staff is very friendly but professional. And the food.. The food was outstanding. From the starter of bruscetta with Mellon and prosciutto, to the main dish of fillet with prosciutto. Tip:... Tucked behind an unimpressive facade is one of the best dining opportunities you will ever have. Excellent service, helpful and friendly. Excellent wine list. Large portions of terrific food. Starter platter is enough to feed an army! "La Fiorentina" is a very large T bone of chianino beef that is perhaps the best steak I have ever had. Bring an... More

From the outside, you probably wouldn't be tempted to enter, but you would be denied some excellent food, wine and hospitality. We will certainly be getting a flight back again to try the incredible looking steak!

I've been here a few times in the space of a few years and the standards never slip. The staff are lovely and welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is always brilliant. The portions are very big, be careful!

Description
Restaurant where you can find the original old plates of this lovely region, from the old recipe strait on your table. Of course the famous Fiorentina steak is the queen of the restaurant. With a wine list of around 200 wine labels from all round the Tuscany area, where you can find as well someone of the Italian's most famous.
