I had the meat tortellini. It was amazing. It melted in my mouth. What a surprising find. We did not partake in the wine tasting but the food alone was some of the best we had in Tuscany.

4 of us stopped in Lucca after a visit to Pisa. We split the honey tasting, olive oil tasting, a panini, and a bottle of red wine. And were stuffed! Highly recommend!!

A great little place heading in Lucca from the train station. Just pass along Piazza San Martino, heading towards Piazza Napoleon team (it's a little Piazza call San Giovanni). We had the 5 wine tasting. Starting with a fizzante rosa, and the 2 whites and 2 reds. Bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar provided as a side to the wine.... More

Stopped for a late lunch, lasagna is excellent. The plates of cold cuts, cheese and wine, ample and pretty good. Good value for what you get. Paninis are pretty good too. A few steps away from piazza di San Martino and its duomo.

Upon arriving in Lucca, we were told by our hotel staff (and many other online google searches), that there were not any wine tastings within the walls of Lucca. Not wanting to get back in the car and drive to Monte Carlo immediately after arriving, we decided to explore inside Lucca regardless. What we found was this lovely little place,... More

We visit twice. Easy to do because we lived right next door for a week. Fantastic food, friendly service, relaxing atmosphere.

We ate in the terrace of this small Enoteca, just beside the Duomo Piazza. It was a very nice lunch with bruschettas as antipasti and good pici (local hand-made pasta), again. Reasonable price and good service

This is the perfect place to wait for the Puccini Show just close to the wine bar. People are lovely and service just perfect...really appreciated the snacks that came with pur glasses...nice and posh! Great knowledge of local wine also.

We can really recommend Enoteca Calasto for tasting of local wines. The staff is knowledgable and if you find a wine of your liking, it is possible to buy it on site. Next time we will try their olive oil tasting as well!

We were lucky enough to be staying 2 doors away from this excellent wine bar for a week in July. Serving simple but delicious food the bar is small but very welcoming. The wine waiter, Emmanuelle, is very knowledgable about the local wines and the 5 wines for 12 euro offer (3-5pm) is a treat not to be missed. Highly... More
