Tortelli Lucchesi paired with Gutmann Hefeweizen ... Perfecto! Easy walk from the train station and prices that are ultra reasonable.

We were attracted to this restaurant by the various positive reviews on tripadvisor. Well, they are absolutely justified ! Not only was the food (a variety of pasta dishes, pizza and more) very good, the owner also helped us get a taxi to our B and B (which in Lucca is nearly impossible after 8 o clock, if you try... Went to Pisa on the train one morning planning to stay the day. Saw the tower and wanted 'outta there' because of the heat and hordes of people. We decided to go "home" to Lucca for lunch. Decided to see what was outside the wall. Less than two blocks from the train station is this uniquely decorated spot. Palapas cover... More

I ate here yesterday with my boyfriend. But I would absolutely disapprove of going here. Our food was too salty (didn't taste like anything but salt). It was heated up in the microwave and the pasta was of a tough substance. Please do not go here for your dinner! It is not worth your money and time!

This is a locals haunt that welcomes visitors too. Doodled placemats adorn the walls. It's a little basic - more local cafe than restaurant. However all the food is freshly cooked in front of you. Needless to say the food didn't disappoint!

Hang out with some friends for a good dinner, everything started good with tasty arancini as a starter, the place was full so a bit of delay was understandable however, we had to wait 2 hours for our pizzas that, BTW also gave stomachache to most of us during the night! There are definitely better places in Lucca!

Excellent and budget restaurant. We ordered there two pizzas and spaghetti carbonara. It was very tasty. There was also homemade wine.

Loved this place. Good simple food. I had a calzone which turned out to be a sandwich made on a pizza dough. It was big for lunch, but soooo good. My wife had ravioli which she loved. The place is decorated with drawings from kids that have been there. Great atmosphere, friendly staff.
