Checked this out on Trip Advisor and ended up eating here twice. Fantastic food can recommend the beef, pork and sea bream. Homemade gluten free pasta delicious . Soon as l mentioned gluten free nothing too much trouble even brought my own bread. Staff very friendly and attentive

We found this place via Yelp as it was a Sunday and the place we wanted to go to was closed. That was a lucky turn of events as we all loved our food. My daughter got pasta with chicken cutlet, my son got a pasta dish and my husband got an incredible pasta dish (recommended by the waiter) it... More

Together with my beloved girlfriend, intolerant to gluten, we visited this place twice while in Lucca. Food is very tasty, almost everything on the menu is gluten free. Place itself is nice, both the garden and the interior. Staff is nice and attentive. Prices are really fair. The fish fillet in zucchini crust was undescribably good. When back in Lucca,... More

We enjoyed our stay again, it's been 5 years since last time. Being objective is difficult when you're revisiting a romantic memory. Let's be fair, the food was decent, the service was impeccable, the price was right, good sized portions and the location is charming. Only three stars for the quality of food, but four for the rest.

Having eaten here twice a few years ago and having read the recent reviews, we had high expectations. Sadly, this was not to be, as relative to about a dozen other places we ate at over the period of a month in Tuscany, the night we visited here the food was unimaginative and service sullen. Despite the restaurant promoting itself... More

First of all, it has a lovely internal garden with some beautiful plants. But most importantly the cuisine is excellent - there are tasting menus and specialities of the day. This is very obviously a chef-led restaurant with very interesting and delicious dishes. Do try.

So we are wandering around Lucca's city walls (absolutely beautiful promenade around the entire old town!) and decide we better find a place to eat. The longer we were in Tuscany, the more comfortable we felt making these decisions last minute. (It was middle of May, no crowds to speak of.) So I yelped, read a good review or two... More

We enjoyed our Sunday lunch at this reasonable family style restaurant. There were many tables of 3 generations and we noticed that little children were brought something to eat almost immediately. Decor was pleasant and the service was good. The food met our expectations though not gourmet by any means. We would return without hesitation.

Recommended by our hotel manager, we were very happy to make the (small) detour to Ammodonstro. The steak with pistachio was wonderful and the desert with roasted almonds one of the best deserts I have had in a very long time. Great housewine too Highly recommend this restaurant!

We just had pastas, but that were very good. The place is very welcoming, very clean, baby-friendly, and well situated.
