Pizza was superb here,so nice that they got a second slice. I had cecina,a kind of pizza with chick peas. Not giving full five because Staff was not so kind, especially the grumpy lady at the counter.

If you are going into Lucca or anyhwere near it.... EAT HERE. This is the most amazing pizza .... right up there in significance for New Yorkers, with Totonno's in Brooklyn. You have to have their Pizza. No ambience, barely anywhere to sit or stand, the service borders on questionable, but it is all about the Pizza.

I was staying in Lucca with my family for two weeks, and we decided to try Da Felice. Each pizza feeds about two people, so we ordered three. The pizza was excellent. The sauce was sweeter than normal, which I liked. The pizzeria itself was small and crowded but you could see them cooking the pizzas in the oven. If... More

We came here twice for lunch during our stay in Lucca. Place is packed, and basically no seats, but we took the pizza with us outside.

Most genuine family-run place for over 50years, extremely delicious pizza steaming-hot from the oven! The price/quality ratio is incredible, with all the best and most fresh and natural ingredients, which you could simply taste and see for yourself. Kindly mind you to be there by 8pm, as they close at 8:30pm and the waiting line is always so long that... More

I met a local Girl sitting on a pavement in the City and she recommended here . This was a fantastic find a very small take-away with a few tables serving mostly local people the Pizza was great, but they had the most amazing Chick-pea toasted bread which I never had before and probably will never be able to find... This little hole in the wall pizzeria can easily be missed...but take a few minutes to locate it because you won't be sorry. It is well located in the middle of the old city center...just down a side street. We've not encountered a pizzeria quite like it. It's true they charge you by weight! You are always guaranteed a fresh... More

This is cozy, but well worth the wait. It is crowded, even in April, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. Great economical place to have a quick lunch! Cecina and margherita pizza with salami were excellent!

This is a must for lunch. It is crowded and you will probably have to sit outside on one of the benches or in the door well of a nearby shop, but you will feel like one of the locals!
