Pizzeria Da Felice is the perfect place to grab a slice and sit down or take it with you. The small store is bustling with activity, but any line moves quickly. Highly recommended. We went back the next day.

As someone who can't eat wheat I was delighted to be introduced to this very small but popular pizzeria. Normally I'm an outcast when it comes to pizza but da Felice also makes Cecina, which is made from chickpea flour. I've since discovered that, technically, it's a pancake but they make it like a pizza and slice it up the... More

When in Lucca, you go to da Felice! In my opinion, the best pizza in the city. True Italian experience. Get a slice of pizza, or 2! And definitely try the cecina, on its own or in a focaccia bun. Delicious!!

There was a long line coming out of this pizzeria, so we decided to check things out. The pizza was ultimately very affordable, quickly and freshly made, and absolutely delicious. They have very little seating inside, and as a result, I recommend you taking the pizza to go and finding a step at the base of St Michele church for... More

Da Felice makes the perfect pizza. The cheese is great, the sauce is well balanced, and the pizza is cooked perfectly. The shop has high volume so the pizza is always fresh out of the oven. On our last night in Lucca my wife and I decided to eat there instead of a fancy restaurant. We even have a special... More

No frills, very small, but what a pizza. How can so many places get it so wrong. Just good base, tasty tomato sauce and cheese. Simple really and done so well here. A slice to enjoy

Dropped into da Felice to escape the scorching midday heat - and found it packed with a whole cross section of locals and visitors. As others have noted, beware the massive pizzas - they really are huge - try the size down unless you're truly ravenous. There's plenty of room for all inside and out in the garden at the... More

We liked the idea of picking up some pizza cooked in a clay oven. The food and service was good but we did find that the pizza's were very salty

We enjoyed this pizza very much. One of the best pizzas we had in Italy. Our only problem was that four women ordered four different pizzas. They were huge. None of us could finish even half. Should have ordered one, no more than two!
