This feels like a bakery from the past - delicious focaccias in a variety of flavors, baked fresh during the day. Incredibly friendly owner and staff. We had such a great experience here. We bought some to take back home, and have been eating it...since - it's delicious! The breads looked great but we didn't have room in our suitcase! This is one of those very special places on the planet - you should not miss it, And talk to Luca - he's a master at baking!More

We asked in the Panelli patisserie where we should buy bread and they said to come here to Giusti just 50 metres along the via S. Lucia just behind the San Michele church. Wonderful bread. They do a few pastries and no cakes as we...recall, but they do all different types of bread. We chose a "mezze", half a loaf of lovely fresh brown wholemeal bread, and we probably bought 3 of them during our week here to have with jam, cheese, salami, salad, sliced tomatoes etc as we were staying just around the corner. Highly recommended.More

Traditional focaccias in several varieties - some may be sold because they are popular. We had several types and all were good.

I enjoy Lucca Italy largely because the people are all so friendly and make you feel happy. I like to call it my happy place. My visit to Forno today was not that. I felt like I crashed a party and the host was wanting...to watch as I walked out the door. The Piece of bakery I bought was good, but no more so than other much more friendly shops in town.More

I joined a group for a tasting crawl around Lucca. Forno a Vapore was one of our stops. The little shop is jammed with people, and the display windows are as enticing as the aromas wafting out from the shop. We purchased two kinds of...focaccia and stood around outside munching. The focaccia with olives was still hot, freshly baked, and the aroma was intoxicating. I also loved the focaccia with tomato slices. They offered all sorts of other baked breads, rolls, snacks, and sweets. This place was well worth the visit. Enjoy!More

I was greeted by the most amazing focaccia smell the second I stepped inside. This place did not disappoint. We ordered one sweet and one one savory focaccia. They were both delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough, and I wish I still had some left...as I write this review!More

We visited here a couple of times on our trip. The foccacia bread was lovely and the man behind the counter was very friendly, offering us help with our little Italian when ordering. Would highly recommend.

I went here mainly because of the reviews & that i was going to take some bread back for my last day . I bought a chocolate chip & hazelnut foccaccia thing & it was rock hard & tasted stale . It wasnt pleasant at...all . A spinach thing that was hard around the edges which also tasted stale & some biscuits which were actually nice . Its all came to just over €8 . Vastly overpriced for horrible foodMore

It is easy to spot this bakery. It is near the St Michael the Archangel church. The specialty of this bakery is Focaccia. They sell different kinds of Focaccia, both savory and sweet. They have the BEST Focaccia in Italy!!! Plus the prices are very...affordable.More
