Nice place in the heart of Livorno

The place was very nice and cosy. The only thing we didn't like and you should keep in mind is that they don't accept reservations which made us wait for more than half an hour to be seated. Considering it was during the week, make sure you go well in advance on friday/saturday. It is reasonably... read more

This is a very cosy local restaurant close to the market. I did not see how much room was at the back but it did not look very large. The staff were great at explaining the menue. There were two adults and one teenager. We shared two starters and two main courses. The starters were a pasta dish and a... More

Be aware that you should not expect a traditional restaurant but more of an alternative eatery. With service at tables and all, but very easy-going and informal and a little underground. Livorno is a left-wing, anarcoid city and this place witnesses the political engagement of Livorno's leftist youth (god they'll hate me for this reduction to a stereotype) so don't... More

We went to this place to have dinner. It has a very nice interior full of products from the region. The staff is young and dynamic and is willing to make you discover their gastronomy. A lot of dishes are fish based. If you stop by Livorno, we definitely recommend this place.

Leghorn, Livorno in Italian, is a town that makes up for the comparatve paucity of landmarks and art with the celebrated wit and attitude of its townpeople. One of the location where you can still interact in streets and shops with spontaneous and direct characters. A town of sailors and wily craftmans, its charm is in the scenes of popular... More

In the centre of Livorno, in Cavallotti square, you can't ignore this typical place, loud and lively! be ready to share your table with other people and not to read a menu, as they do not have one. If you are too picky, make yourself a favour and don't even get near it. What hits you as soon as you... More

We had a great meal. Had little idea what we ordered. But when it came we were not disappointed. The fish was fantastic and the wine was good and the bill very reasonable. We were only passing through and this restaurant was a treasure find.

I went there tonight and the food was very tasty - def. very good seafood and an awesome price! I plan on going again to eat the "pulpo" my neighbor was eating! Unfortunately for me communication was a bit hard as the first waiter did not speak english - I understood from her that there was no menu and she... More

I knew about this place from googling 'best pasta in Livorno'. Decided to give it a try and the experience was marvelous that I went back the day after. The food portion was big, for an Asian girl like me. The rosso was very affordable at €1 per glass. The mussels starter was so delicious and fresh. The side dish... More
