Best food in whole of Italy

While travelling through Italy we visited this beautiful restaurant. In 24 evening meals that we had in Italy the two evenings that we came here to eat were the best. The initial greeting was lovely. My husband and I went here for dinner and were not disappointed. The house wine was fantastic and we each ordered a pizza. They were tasty and filling and exactly what you would want from Italy in terms of pizza. We would definitely go back if given the chance.

We came here because we needed gluten free food for my mum. When we walked in we were amazed by the restaurant's decoration. It was modern but also old. Honestly it was very glamorous. The building was built in the late Renaissance so they have the original frescoes which were worm out but they are still so beautiful. The food... More

Interior had original building's remaining frescos with a modern and somewhat over-the-top dimly lit chandelier. Excellent service. Waiter recommendations were perfect. Highly recommend!

Have visited a couple of times now. The first, pasta and meat dishes were amazing. The second time, pizza was very good quality, although was the frequently seen style in Italy that is somewhat soggy. Purely personally not my preference, although the quality of ingredients was evident. Highly recommended.

They won a prize for their gluten free pizza and they definitely deserve it. The rest of the food is excellent fresh and tasty. Even in winter they can make tasty tomatoes in a salad! The service is excellent too. It's a topical Italian place run by the family the way we live it and the way we'd wish to... More

I'm we'll traveled and have eaten casual and fine dining all over the world. This place was recommended by a local and was absolutely amazing. Pizza is traditional from Naples and we couldn't get enough. We had their homemade ravioli with cheese and pears (again recommended) and didn't leave a drop. I highly suggest not missing this spot.

This was recommended to us by our tour guide. Tables are very close together but that's typical for Florence. They serve traditional napal style pizza. The crust is thing and the tomato sauce is the cleanest most natural tomato sauce I've ever had. Just a note, because the crust is so soft and the tomato sauce so natural and watery,... More
