we stumbled on this gelato as we walk past it everyday to get to our hotel. saw a bunch of japanese tourists inside lining up and figured it must be good (the japanese loves their sweets!). yes it was odd that the gelato was in...More

This is an organic, artisinal gelateria and you can't go wrong. In fact the staff will tell you if the flavors you are selecting are not particularly compatible with each other (like coffee and fruits). But you have to try the affogato -- a small...More

Grom was recommended by our guide book. We found the place plainly decorated. You couldn't even view the gelato options before purchasing. They sit in covered pots with little plaques. Where is the fun in that? We love being able to see all the fun...More

First off, Grom is a small chain. There are a few locations around Europe and one now in Malibu, CA. This is no shot at Grom, just a side note. The gelato is delicious and I really enjoy how creaminess it is. They make/store their...More

My wife and I were in Italy for 3 weeks. This was The Best gelato. Go with their reccommendation for flavors. You can't go wrong. Expect a line-up. Hang in there....it's worth it!

The ice cream is delicious and creamy. Also it's not very colourful (no shocking colours and additives).

We came here based on a recommendation from a local Florentine. There were long lines as is usually the case where they serve good Gelato, and the menu is in Italian, which makes it take longer for translations from the servers. The gelato was much...More

Without a doubt, the best ice cream I have ever had, an absolute must if you're in Florence.

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
