The minute we walked in we were impressed with our hosts hospitality and enthusiasm for their establishment. The highlights of the meal were the Florentine Steaks and Crepe starter which were both enjoyed immensely. A lovely restaurant, great staff and a traditional Florence experience.

The food was reasonable, which, for a city with endless great choices, is a disadvantage. Nobody in our party thought their food was bad, but nobody thought it was great. Perfectly average. Prices were reasonable and service was pretty reasonable but not superior.

Wild boar ragu and the chicken with mushrooms in cream and cognac sauce, both were delicious. Couldn’t fault the food or the service. Probably the best ragu we had in our 2 week stay in Tuscany.

After reading the reviews and history of this Trattoria, we expected much more than was delivered. The food was average and the first plate of toast had pieces with mould. Portion size was small and service less friendly and attentive than befits a restaurant in...More

We are in Florence for the holidays and have been to several restaurants thus far. It seems some of them want to be unique and so mix flavors that don't work that well for me or my family. However, for us, this restauarant has a...More
