Was recommended this restaurant by Rick Steves as well as our tour guide from Cinque Terre. Totally amazing pizza! We watched it getting made in their fire oven. It was so delicious!

We found this place on the recommendation from a person we were talking to at our Hotel, The Westin. She was in Italy for her Hotel Management course where she needed to do a semester out of country and she picked Florence. When I asked...her where to go for pizza she didnt hesitate. This was the placer and she was right. Great crust and tangy tomato sauce with what had to have been made onsite mozzarella frond the perfect texture it had. Dont let what looks like a small place fool you, its huge inside and has a great younger Italian vibe from the crowd that was there. The place was full within 30 minutes of opening with what were obviously mostly locals which says something on its own. TRY THIS PLACE!More

My granddaughter and I have been traveling around for a week and have had quite a few pizzas as she is a vegan. We were walking back to our room after a long day and she googled pizza close to our hotel. She liked the...number of reviews so we went. It was FABULOUS! When we got there at 8 it wasn’t all that busy but by the time we left it was packed. The most amazing French fries EVER ...... and my pizza was the best I have HAD IN A PRETTY LONG LIFE!! (While on some level I know it’s insane to eat fries and pizza together...... we couldn’t help ourselves! Worth every calorie!!). Fab crust. The servers are busy and you have to catch them, but they are cheerful and it was well worth the slightly hard service. I’d go again in a second!More

Only one person to serve at least 10 full tables is kind of a nerve test. Pizza is very good indeed, primi piatti plates are also successful. However the ambiance in the area we sit is like slum backyard where lots of very old Maradona...uniforms are hanged over the pizza oven. Only good pizza is not enough especially if you are in Italy.More

Amazing pizza in Florence! I loved. I ask for burrata extra in mine and they didn’t hesitate to fulfill my request. The place is different and nice. You should try!

Came here as a recommendation from our hotel and really glad we did. First of all the location - a bit off the beaten track across the river. This gave much more of a local feel than the centre of Florence. The restaurant also has...an interesting decor with a flying angel and washing lines of football shirts! The food is great - Neapolitan style pizzas - we had one each, mine came with a whole mozzarella cheese. The deep fried anchovies starter was great. The wine list focuses on southern Italian wines which is unusual for Florence. We had a lovely bottle of Primitivo. Try it, I’m sure you’ll like it.More
