This restaurant was recommended to us by our tour guide when we asked for places which serve simple but great tasting food. We visited La Bussola for lunch and had the chestnut ravioli which was simply amazing !! the best we have had ever !!...More

No one has mentioned that this pizza place has a traditional wood fired oven. It makes all the difference. Superb pizza. Went 2 nights in a row.

Pizzadinner in the bar and pastalunch the day after. Dough the best i ever had, tomatosauce very good. The best quality of all ingridients. Nice modern setting, not at all a tourist trap feeling. Pasta perfectly al dente with good tomatosauce, lasagna, carbonara and carbonara...More

We stayed just over the road in the Hotel Porta Rossa. We ate twice at La Bussola, once indoors and nce at one of the tables outside- outside was much more memorable (but the tables are all reserved, so you do need to book). Not...More

We found La Bussola by accident, during one of those 'where are we going to eat tonight moments' and as a 'spur of the moment' decision it was inspired. Most of the restaurant was fully booked, however we were given a table close to the...More

We went back for three meals and the service and ambiance was so great I'm already missing it back home. Dishes we had - ravioli in cheese sauce with pine nuts, chestnut ravioli, spaghetti in lil and garlic (deceptively simple and totally delicious) the very...More

Looks nice inside, wasn't to busy on a weekend and got a table easily. Ordered a mushroom salad as starter which was ok and 2 pizzas. The truffle pizza was too cheesy for my liking. All 3 diners agreed average.

The pizza was pretty good and reasonably priced. The pasta was more expensive and maybe not great value. The restaurant is nicely decorated and stylish. Some interesting relationships between the pizza chef and the waiting staff, saw them have a bit of a tiff with...More

My Mother and I received a warm welcome here in this busy and popular (with locals and tourists) restaurant. The service was excellent and the owner and his family were happy to talk and joke with customers. Food was fresh and homemade, average price for...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
