This was the third gelateria I tried in my visit to Florence. It was crowded but the queue moved fast and efficiently. You pay first before providing your order, and at €2 for two flavours this was very reasonably priced. I got the Gianduia and the Pistachio flavours. The Gianduia was excellent but Pistachio was a bit too sweet for... More

Florence is also known for its original icecream. Do visit this gelateria and try some flavours. My favorite is the millefoglie. Which you also can eat in de original vorm, cake, Well an icecake. Do try this. The best in Florence. Enjoy the visit and the gelato. Be sure to plan Your route past their shop for at least two... More

It's one of the top gelaterias in Florence. You must try at least once during your visit. I've tried blue berry, hazelnut w choco and macadimia all were excellent.

After trying a few Gelato shops in Florence, and believe me, there are plenty, this is by far the best. Very reasonably priced too and the staff (well most of them) are very enthusiastic about their products. After we found this place, we had to visit every day. We would sit outside on the little stone benches and savour our... More

This place definitely had the best gelato we tried in Florence, and maybe the best in all of Italy! My girlfriend, who had to try hazelnut gelato at every place we stopped, said that Vivoli had the best hazelnut she's ever tasted. Every flavor we tried was awesome, but this place was unique in that they had different/interesting flavors in... More

We were there four times in August and every time it was a long queue with people sitting outside enjoying the ice cream. The types we bought were delicious and service was good too.

I never thought it would be possible to have a fruit-flavored ice-cream that is better than the fruit itself. Now I know that it is indeed possible. Vivoli's pesca (peach) is just incredible and you have to try it! Other flavors that I recommend are pear&caramel, chocolate&orange, pistachio and - last but not least - gianduja. But there are many... More

Their ice cream is simply delicious and they have lots of great flavours to choose from. The service could be a little friendlier but that's not a priority for me in an ice cream parlour.

Our guide told us that this is the oldest gelateria in Florence - I can't deny or confirm that but can confirm that it sells delicious ice cream. We did have other ice cream in Italy and it was all so wonderful that it would be hard to say with certainty that Vivoli's offering was any better than that from... More
