Some tourists do come here, but it's off the beaten track & to me it seemed like we were the only foreigners in the whole establishment! Not that mattered in the slightest..English was spoken & everyone was friendly a helpful! A curious looking vegetable in the inevitable attractive glass case at the entry turned out to be the rarely offered... More

The food was good, but the service terrible. No one asked us to helpt with the italian menu, even when I googled the words and asked the waiter, he was acting like I was an idiot. The waiter slapped the food on the table, spoke no word with us, no smile, nothing. We didnt feel welcome at ALL, never ever... More

This a trattoria that serves excellent food and traditional old dishes that have disappeared from the menu of most restaurants. The service, the food, and the ambiance are authentic and reliable, as is witnessed by the great number of locals who attend the place. We go there whenever we are in Florence and have never been disappointed;o n the contrary,... More

I was invited here by a friend (local). He is a regular. We had two courses, and a dolce, starting with a ragu, on to bistecca fiorentina, an a cioccolata. All done to perfection. The SanFreddiano area is a bit hip nowadays, but this is a traditional trattoria, not a boutique shop. Wonderful experience.

Had a lovely traditional meal here, busy place with great atmosphere. Lots of locals and some tourists. For a place in the middle of Firenze I thought it was reasonable. Le torta Della Nonna was great

Food was OK ... and I get it is off the tourist route ..... but really .... it would take ? half an hour to translate the menu into ? English .... There were enough English speaking people there on New Year Eve, to make it worthwhile. The waiter spoke English and could translate ... but all takes time !!... More

the food was OK, the wine was indifferent. Sadly the welcome and service were a serious disappointment, we were completely taken aback when we were asked to leave as soon as we had finished our food. We had a full glass of wine remaining so we move to the cold outside. I won't be back

Come and be surrounded by the chatter of Florentine locals. I was brought here by a friend who lives in Naples, he has continuously been returning to this restaurant for years. Nice assortment of menu, and you can tell the food is homemade and fresh. Fresh pasta with pesto was excellent, as was the ravioli dish. The panna cotta is... More

We stopped here for lunch when we were unable to get straight into the nearby Brancacci Chapel at Santa Maria del Carmine. Sitting outside, the street was quiet. We had salad with artichokes - refreshing, fresh, and full of flavour. Quick friendly service.

Make a reservation to assure your spot at this terrific family run restaurant. The risotto was perfect and the Florentine steak was incredible.
